Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is okay it is updated, relevant, research-driven etc. It provides us with good practical knowledge besides theoretical knowledge. Overall it was good. It is good actually. Studies are very nice. Teachers help a lot it is okay.

Placements are ok. Internships are also ok. Overall more than 80% of people enjoy good internships as well as placement from nice companies.

College Events

Many events are celebrated in our college. teachers day celebration takes place every year. Different sessions are conducted on art of living, yoga and its importance, business culture etc. Guest lectures by great keynote speakers and industrial visits also are also held by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is also feasible not too costly. So overall it is okay for people to pay this much for a year and the quality of education which is provided is very nice. overall I am satisfied and they are additional charges for books which are refundable at the end of graduation.

No, I didn't opt for any scholarship or something else for my education so I have no idea for this.

Campus Life

We are enjoying it maybe or maybe not. The gender ratio is equal and the crowd is good. We have a cafeteria where we chill in between classes and we have a good environment in our college and we enjoy a lot. Moreover, our college is located in a safe and posh locality.

Alumni/Alumna

No, I have no links with alumni. So I really can't comment on this. We have a page on FB for the same but I personally have never tried it.

Admission

I got admission through IPU CET 2018 then we further wnt for 3 college allotment round sliding around and spot round. the process was very tedious as we had to weight a lot and then visit the university campus for final spot round. It was okay but I didn't like it though.

Faculty

Faculty is okay. They are very helpful and they help us in every manner they can and besides all this, they are best in their own fields. We have lectures for every subject daily. It is really very difficult to attend so many classes on a stretch. It feels as if we are in a school.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I hdd 90.89 percentile in my CAT 2024 and 93.18 percentile in XAT 2025. These are very good scores and make a candidate like me eligible for top B-schools. The eligibility of the course is to have 50% minimum marks in your undergraduate. The application form, fees, and any other information regarding admission are available on thier admission portal.
