Overall it was a good college because its ethics were strong they had good faculties as well and a few teachers was very friendly towards students sports sections use to have good teachers. But TPO didn't have a good network in companies but my college days were best so it was a lovely journey in my life. Lastly I would say "I GONNA MISS MY COLLEGE DAYS "

I m a Mechanical engineer right now I would not prefer to do B. Tech because in few years back one newspaper I saw that in India every year 36 lacs engineer r passing out and only 12 lacs r placed so I for the new ones if they are interested in engineering I would say go with CSE or ECE and now it's a digital revolution and every can see that internet is ruling the world so think about it.

Placement were good for CSE & ECE stream but in core stream theu were not good and maximum opportunity were in South India and its very costly place specially metropolitan cities and maximum core stream companies have bonds in there company for 3 to 5 yrs and very less package as well

During our first year we had freshers party so it was lovely freshers welcome then in December we have ALFRESHCO fest for 3 days DJ & Rock band use to perform their one songs and all over noth Bengal use to come and participate in fest then we have technical fest companies use to come and show there products or services.

As my college is in West Bengal so maximum college fees are decided by West Bengal board so for studying engineering I think the fees was feasible but market is very expensive because it was a tourist place and it was the gateway of North East

In West Bengal private engineering college doesn't have any scholarships only we have TFW (Tution Fee Waiver) that is done by board and the rule is if any student parent annual income is not more than 2 lacs then the student semester fees is only 2K. But each department has vey less seats.

I love to play cricket & I was a follower of Sachin Tendulkar. During my hostel days we use to play a healthy cricket and maximum friend's of our department use to come and we use to play and once I was hitted 6 sixes in an over by our college senior.

Hostel fees was a not expensive but the food was very very bad. We use to say that even in jail the people use to get better food than us. But overall it was a good hostel because its looks was awesome and we have WiFi facility. But sadly now the college doesn't provide hostel facility.

Seniors were greatly there was no ragging in college and we use to maintain a culture & reputation with seniors but when they use to go somewhere and we i use to see how's there way to see the city so I would say there attitude feels us how to adjust with the outside world

I saw a the photo of the college in newspaper and my college is on the foothills of himalayas so my parents & I decided to go and then I decided to took the admission and I took admission because of the weather and a lovely hill view of Darjeeling but I am thankful to nature because during my first year I got to see the full view of Kanchanjanga

We have an excellent facilties in our college specially in mechanical stream maximum teachers were frm IIT'S & NIT'S background so each teacher had an deep knowledge on engineering. They are very helpful & friendly teachers
