My college

College life is the best part anyone's life I guess and my college has provided the beautifull days of my life. Nothing to complaint or argue about but it's the best I could get. So I would prefer anyone who wish to have good college life to come and join here

So the year we joined there was complete chaos. Initially in kerala we were having different universities for btech and different colleges came under different universities. But at that year every single university was merged into a single one called APJ Abdul Kalam Technological university

It depends upon the course you are taking up. Overall from a outside point of view the placements are really good. Bt the fact is that all that placement converges towards only few courses. Courses like eelectronics and communication , electrical engineering and computer science gets most of the placements and at the other hand might civil engineering has very poor placement arriving.

Almost all the events are celebrated starting from any local festival to national celebrations. Apart from that college is conducting their on arts fest , technical and cultural fests, departmental fests, sports meet etc.

Ooh the fee structure is very good. The college is a government aided college. So students joining in merit rank has to pay only 8000 per semester but whereas those entering through management seats has to pay high fees depending upon the branch you are choosing.

Students who are in economically backward situation can avail various scholarships. One of the many I remember is scholarship named as fee waver or something. Then there is e -grantz. So students have economic problems can avail such scholarships and study safely

We have a good physical education trainer who has represented national level football team during his old days. So the kind of experience and expertise he is having is a opportunity for students to learn from and execute. Football is the most watched sport in the institution

The hostel infrastructure is too good for a old college like TKM. Well lit and clean room with amble space. The rooms are mostly four sharing having seperate bathrooms within each floor. The hostel also has playing areas like badminton court and basketball nets etc. also TV halls are provided where you can watch movies or any other stuff

Tkm college is having a great alumni. All the main alumnus are in great positions and are constantly backing up the institution in all ways they could help. Even the recent ISRO chief is an tkm alumni. cheers

We had a entrance examination called keam(kerala engineering and medical entrance examination). So I wrote that and secured very decent Mark's and finally got admission in my college. So there are four phases of allotment. Initially my allotment was in the same college where I studied, later the second allotment was also there , and I knew that on my third allotment I would get the college i kept prior to my current college. So i decided not to further go for any more allotment nd come join this college because many of my friends and seniors were there only.

All the faculty members are highly qualified with great expertise and experience. Almost all of them are friendly in nature and offer a hand of help incase we need them. The best thing is that there is no much partiality among teachers towards students. All are treated equal and they put on their maximum effort to provide quality education to the students thereby enhance the quality of students and the institution.
