Good placement and faculty

My College provides best placement opportunities in it's area. Also the infrastructure is quite good and teachers are interactive. Also the mess, canteen and cafeteria food is tasty. The meals cost is also affordable around just Rs 60 per meal.

Our course curriculum is designed by SPPU. Being one of the best universities in Maharashtra, the curriculum is very good. There are two semesters per year. There are two exams per semester. One is In-Sem of 30 marks and other is End-Sem of 70 marks. Also there are practical and assignment marks. So not too much exams.

The College placement are good. Most of the students get placement offers after passing through our College. Our College also provides internship in 3rd year. I have not yet appeared for any internship. A lot of companies visit our College like Infosys, Capgemini, Amazon, KPIT, Wipro, Persistent, TCS, etc.

Traditional days are celebrated in our College. Cultural fest is also celebrated in our College. The participation in these is limited to College students only. Sports days are also celebrated in our College. Inter-College championship also takes place. Spectrum is a technical event exclusively for first year students. Participation in spectrum is high. Other College students also take part in Spectrum. Around 1000 students gather for this event.

Fees structure for our College is feasible. It is much less than most of the private Colleges. The fees structure depends on the caste of students as scholarships are offered to students by government depending on their castes. For Open category students: Tuition fees: Rs 110914 Development fees: Rs 14086 University fees: Rs 790 Students activity fees: Rs 1000 Eligibility exam fees (Maharashtra state Students): Rs 1550 Eligibility exam fees (Other state students): Rs 2050 Amartya Shiksha Yojana Insurance: Rs 701 Total fees for Maharashtra state students: Rs 129041 Total fees for other state students: Rs 129541 I belong to OBC category and live in Maharashtra state. So my total annual fees is Rs 73584.

I have not availed any College scholarships. I have availed government scholarship which reduces tuition fees by 50%. One scholarship provided by College that I know is Cummins scholarship which I didn't got selected for.

Extra-curricular activities such as sports are very actively participated in our College. Many games are played like football, basketball, chess, badminton, cricket. Also there are many clubs like Red Baron(racing car club), robotics club, etc. Student parties are not held in our College. Their is no discrimination done on basis of caste, religion, sex, etc. Also senior students do not bully juniors.

No, I have not opted for College hostel. I live in private hostel outside College campus. One of my friends live in College hostel. I have seen their room. It is way much larger than mine. Also he shares the room with only one person, whereas I share my room with 2 people for same rent. I eat food at College mess and it is very tasty and healthy.

The senior students are very helpful and easy to access and talk with. They do not bully juniors and treat us as their friends. Also they provide us guidance in our studies. Our College has a good alumni network. They provide us with knowledge of their experience in companies and interviews.

I got admission in our College through MH-CET exam. I scored 97.97 percentile. It took a long time from morning to evening for admission as there were a lot of students waiting for admission. I chose Information Technology because I have interest in programming and it also has scope in future.

The College faculty is very good and supportive. They explain each topic under curriculum and also try to give extra knowledge. Most of the Colleges even do not completely teach syllabus. They are mostly post-graduates and some are PHD.
