Our College is a highly prestigious institution and has been providing high quality education to students from the beginning. Infact our College is one of the first government aided College in India and hence shows it prowess in terms of experience and quality.

Our College follows a curriculum called KTU. A lot of Colleges follow the KTU curriculum and all Colleges under this University follow the elsame syllabus. Which means all Colleges under the university have the same paper for the university exam. Internal exams are conducted on its own by the College. A minimum of 45% internal marks is required to attend the university exam along with 75% attendance. If one fails to satisfy any of these criterion's then they will have to attend a summer course to attend the exam next year.

Our College generally has a high placement ratio and most students get placed either at end of their third year or by the end of fourth year. Core company placements are also available depending on the knowledge of the student. Our College promotes and encourages to take on high quality internships but does not provide internships on its own to other Colleges.

Our College hosts one of South India's largest techno-cultural symposium named Hestia each year. Hestia is attended by nearly 10000 students each year. Our College also hosts various other events including sports and other cultural events. This year our College hosted a social charity programme called Krithi which hosted many children from orphanages and also brought Transgenders to share their view on the world.

Since our College is a government aided College the fees is bare minimum and can be afforded by anyone. Our College fees only comes to about 20000 per year excluding hostel fees. Hostel fees is around 5000 each month including food.

I have not availed any scholarships so I have no knowledge on the scholarship facilities available however I know that our College do provide scholarships for under privileged students. Students generally have no issues coping with the fees here.

We have excellent lab facilities here and all departments have separate laboratories for each lab subjects. Our College is a highly ranked College in terms of sports as well and generally our College wins many medals and awards for it's sports activities.

There are separate hostels for students of each year. The hostels are well maintained. There is shortage of water or electricity problems. Each room is shared by 2-5 students. The hostel fees comes to about 5000 per month. There are also options for hostels other than campus hostel and the rental comes to about the same amount.

The seniors are very helpful to us and they are always ready to guide us through any situation. We also have a strong alumni network and have alumni in nearly all fields across the globe. Since our institution has been around for quite a long time we have a long list of alumni who are capable of providing any kind of help to our students.

I got admission in this College by passing and scoring high rank in KEAM exam which is the Kerala entrance exam for engineering. The rank was based on both marks scored in KEAM as well as 12th marks. The rank is decided by taking equal consideration for both the marks scored in the entrance exam as well as 12 board exam marks. I got admitted with my rank which was above the cut off required for CSE branch in the College.

Since our College is a highly ranked and a well sought-after College our faculty members are highly qualified and have deep knowledge in their respective subjects. Most faculties are IITians or NITians and most have work experience too. Which translates to high quality classes and we'll structured classes according to the prescribed syllabus.
