Pretty Good College for engineering

Infrastructure is a bit congested. There is no compromise made on required facilities,that should be improved. My postive remarks about the College are that the Faculty is Qualified and Helpful. Labs are decent. Placements and Internship opportunities are vast.

The exam structure was comprised of both theory and Practical exams. The labs were pretty good and we were encouraged to participate in National events like Hackathon,and for doing research on branch related topics whether its in the syllabus or out of the syllabus. Talking about the work load, yeah there was a good amount of work load on us,some weeks were very hectic.

Placements and Job opportunities are pretty good, companies like Wipro, Infosys,etc had visited the College for recruitment. There were also many Japanese companies present for the same purpose. The internship opportunities are average. I haven't been part of any internship program, so I can't describe more about the same.

Cultural and technical events are below average. They aren't that big but there is a good amount of participation in it. I haven't been a part of a cultural event but some events like Firodiya are very good for your social skills development as my friends who had participated in it had told me.

Its pretty feasible. Fee for 1st year was around 1 lac then it goes on increasing with 25k per year. The fee structure has some specific deposit amount and the remaining fee is payable fee. If you are part of any scholarship scheme,the fee gets reduced by about 15-20 percent

Yes there are many scholarship opportunities provided for Poor students and scholarship for girls which Pune University itself has provided. There are special discounts on hostel fees as well for people having residence outside of the state especially J&K residents

Computer labs are very good. There is a machine tool shop present in the College and there is club called Pegasus which builds various automobiles by themselves and participates in national events like BAJA,etc. Sex ratio is 3:5

Seniors are polite and are always helpful to their juniors. They guide juniors and help them. I had attended a speech on "Future of engineering" which was given by one of our alumini, it changed my way of thinking about some topics and the idea of engineering in general.So overall the seniors and Alumini Network are good

We had two criterias for getting admission in the College CET score or JEE score. I got the admission in College through my JEE score. I didn't want to choose any other branch except computer engineering so all the choices I had put were for different Colleges but only for computer engineering branch. My score was eligible for getting admission in this College even though I preferred getting admission in COEP,VIT and NITs.

Most of them have 5+ years of teaching experience and are PHDs in their respective subjects or are pursuing PHD in their subjects. Most of the faculties love their subjects and passionate to teach others about it.
