Positive In KTU we are top. Negative is College was very strict. With full camers security. If we reach half an hour late the inform to parents. Need gate pass for cross the gate if it is on class time.
Course Curriculum Overview
Civil Engineering course was good there. The labs are good with good faculties,Testes are there after every module. Also other internal exams.Project (both group and individual),seminars. Deparmental activities, festes,talkes of faimous industrialist and engineers.
Placement Experience
Yes. Palcement drives are also conducted. Many companies were reached and may of them got placed.As a civil Engineer the core companies are less but few of them like RIGHT EDGE, KALYAN BUILDERS, MUTHOOTH GROUPS etc. For the IT jobs TCS,VIPRO, INFOAYS etc may also there. Internsips were also provided and also tech talks,placement classes.
College Events
Along with the studies our College has special attentiion on the cultural activities and also sports. Arts named VARNAM were celebrate every year.Sports meet -SPARK. Inter and also intra College fests were also conducted. Inter College fest VYAPTHI-2019 Was the latest one. And next tech fest is dated on this comming march. Along with that onam, christmass, etc also celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible. For management those who had marks above 90%(in Physics,chemisty,maths) the fee is only 8000 per year. For government its 75000.and if they achive more than 80% they may also can study on the fee 8000. (If the student who came on 8000 had score low mark in university( less than65%) the merint will gone and the fee will become 75000
Fees and Financial Aid
Those who achive 90% in +2 (PCM) whose fees was 8000. And who achive more than 80% in university exam there may also a reduction in fees. About the loan sorry I dont know more.
Campus Life
Labs are good with all the feactures and expert staffs. Campus is raging free. Green campous. Sports activites and cultural activites were mention earlier. Tech talkes and software classes also conducted. Special talks for girs on womens day and other times. Couniling was there for the students.
Hostel Facilities
Sorry I am not an hosteler. But I visited the hostel and the rooms and toilets all are good. Food as my friends says good food.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni was started and meeting also conducted. Seniors were friendly even after they passed out. Campous is ragging free. and anti ragging cell is there we can give complaints to them if any bad occours
Admission
Got admission through Government Entrance Examination. Applied for civil engineering as first option and the College. At the same time enquire about the management quata(based on the marks,Those who has more mark.90% had the priority).There also applied.But the managemnt quata was filled.So got applied throught qovernment merint seat
Faculty
As I above mention Faculty was nice. Who are qualified and all have theri Masters.Head of the department have Phd.Many other teachers also have phd and many are on their ways.All are willing to explain and clarifies our doubts and all are healpfull.
