The Best Atmosphere

No Ground for cricket and football and placements are all IT or computer software companies. The involvement of a single student party in every College activity is very high and they restrict the best extracurricular benefits of the College only to their followers. The students with disagreement to thier policies would be suppressed.

The College is under KTU or APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The curriculum didn't gave any extra special focus on research and is the same as the other universities in Kerala. Nothing special. But the supplementary exams are conducted more quickly than any other universities here. Exams and Labs were very frequent and hectic as the concept/methord for better education as is in done in any foreign univerisites is not deployed here. Still the education system is similar to the ones 30 or 50 years back

All the students with average marks get placed somewhere every year in this Colleges. 95% of the companies which comes for campus placement are software, IT or manegerial companies. There is only 2 electronics and 1 bio trachnology and 0 mechanical companies for the placements here.

Onam Celebration. Freshers day. Sargam Chitram Thalam - Intra College arts fest with 2000 participation. Advent- Technical Fest with students from emgineering Colleges mainly in the district. Cult a Way- Inter College techno- cultural fest with over 10,000 participation from Colleges around Kerala.

Per Year Merit seats - 35000 Management seat- 65000 NRI Seat - 100000 Extra fees- around 7000 every year Merit seats and management setas are through the KEAM allotement process but the management seats are provided directly from the College by the management in accordance to the 12th mark percentage.

There are lots for scholarships for Non- General Category students and only girl child students. These people could study for almost free. General category students do not have any scholarships even if they get/have very high marks or academic records. They could get educational loans easily.

Extracurricular activities are the best here as there is always some program always happening in the College. Labs are good but needs improvement. There is ground for playing cricket and football. There is one basket ball court and 1 volley ball court and 1 badminton court. The cricket and football matches are conducted at a ground 3km from the College campus. Boys are higher in number as there are 3 sub branches in mechanical department. Other departments have almost equal boys and girls. Bit technology department have more girls than boys. But totally boys are more. Workshops conducted here are in huge number, there are technical societies like IEEE, ASME etc which are active.

There is no hostels provided by the College but there are lots of private hostels and paying guest facilities near the College. There is a private hostel for girls having partial control by the College management.

They stay in touch with the College. Contibutes effeciently to the development of infrastructure of the College. Stays in touch with the students and helps them in every actions Seniors are very supportive generally.

I wrote the kerala entrance often known as KEAM and got a good entrance rank and then I chose my stream and College options during the allotment process and in the 2nd allotement I was alloted to this College where I study now. I had an option to study the same stream at SOE Cusat, but later chose this as this College was in the same district as my home and had almost same rankings at the time of my allotment.

Faculties are all qualified and compared to other Colleges around the state, there are more faculties with in depth knowledge about the subject who could help us love the subject we study. But there are also other faculties who make us hate the subject through the methord of teaching but the number is less
