Remarks

The College possess a unwanted habit of scrutinizing students based on their appearance or the way they dress. The College is actually to blame on the Jishnu incident. The coordination is mainly from students in conducting festivals and less support from faculty members.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The labs were not thorough or consistent. I had an instance were loss of a few items from the lab was accused on all the students who entered the lab and fine was forced to pay. The exams lack proper design because the allotted time does not always be enough.

Placement Experience

2

The are enough placement and job opportunities provided. But the problem is that these jobs may have very less compatibility with our course. For example, engineers are provided with customer care call centre jobs. No the College does not provide any internship.

College Events

2.5

There are technical and cultural festivals held in the College. But the frequency of event taking place cannot be predicted. That is an event which is said to occur annually may or may not occur next year. The art event of the College also known as "Bloom" is one of the largest events in Kerala. It attracts a lot of students from Kerala.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is merit seat whose tuition fees will be around 75,000 rupees per annum. At the beginning of first semester we have to pay a caution deposit of 10,000 rupees. An extra fees of around 10,000 should be paid for placement training and placement. The mess fees for hostel is about 100 per day. The refund for absent days is not recievable.

Fees and Financial Aid

The are no loan facilities offered by the College as far as i am concerned. The students who attend their annual technical fest and grabs their attention are likely to get a scholarship. The scholarship which can we availed otherwise is the merit cum means or E-grants offered by the government.

Campus Life

1.5

I see a lack of time alotted for extracurricular avtivities and less resource availability for students to grow. The political parties are active in a medium level. The seems to be workshops and seminars conducted several times annually.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni are sometimes helpful in bringing companies for job allocation in the campus by conducting campus drives. The College seniors are very friendly and gives us an enjoyable experience. There are relatively less signs of raging present in the campus.

Admission

The admission process here is a time consuming process. Its requires giving the same details again and again but still the College officials request for these details repeatedly. The reason I chose this course was because I was told it went through most of the engineering branches. But my expectations were shattered when I came to know that we were taught less practical wise.

Faculty

2.5

I find most faculty less dedicated. This might be because of their low salary. There are also good faculties who do their job with atmost care. There are also faculties who take sides of College management and support unfair actions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance. The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies. The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
