The college has a good atmosphere, a great library, a great playground, excellent faculty, Everhelping seniors, good hostel, helping peers, an alltime available hospital service, AC classrooms, labs and library.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course is tough, and competition is very high as all students are toppers of his school or something. We get good supply of books in library and teachers are very helpful. The Labs are very frequent and so are exams.which push you high and higher to build confidence
Placement Experience
There is one year compulsary internship one must. And after which you get your licence to practice as a doctor. You can go for PG either or sit in a chamber you can also practice in the same college as a house staff.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible, the college is very affordable as it is a Govt. institution and hold students from poor families. Excluding a very feasible admission fee the semester charges are 5000.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarship, before and after you get the college. Many merit based scholarships are available and seminar based scholarships. Reserved students get OASIS for development of education.
Campus Life
There is a huge playground and you can follow any extracurricular activity which is highly encouraged. Every sort of outdoor game facility are available by the college and you can spend a quality leisure time
Hostel Facilities
Yes I have opted for hostel and the quality is good, the infrastructure is good and security is good as well. The hostel allows so many aspects of good life. The hostel canteen is good as well and the hostel charges are as few as 12 rs per month excluding the canteen charges
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni and seniors guide you always.if you stay at hostel and want help you can bang door of any senior even ar 3am for help.they are readily available and never refuse.they love you so much and guide you not just during the course but during the entire life
Admission
After completing my 12th my result was not that good so I decided to get a drop and sat at home for an year and gave both JEE main and NEET 2018, cleared both but an urge to become a doctor pulled me towards this and sat for counselling and I got this college
Faculty
The faculties of WBUHS are rotatory so the teachers are transferred between one medical college to another in west bengal. They are MDs and are all Doctors. They teach you thoroughly through chapters and ready to help you with any doubt
