As cummins college is autonomous college affiliated to Pune university, the course is designed by the faculty itself. More focus of the course is to apply the concepts rather than remembering it. Their are various grooming sessions like Talks, Garnishing Talent( Organized by eaton), various competitions. The placements of cummins college is excellent. Various industrial visits are organised for the students throughout the year. Apart from that, their is technical fest aka Innovation and cultural fest aka Gandhaar, which helps the students boosted. All the knowledge is from the industry perspective.

The companies like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche bank, Barclays, UBS, Eaton, Amdocs, Infosys, Accenture and many other companies come to college for recruitment. After 3rd year of Btech, there is compulsory internship of 2 montha for the students of all the branches. Almost 84% students get placed every year. The institute took steps like soft skills development and various training to help prepare for the interview process.

The technical event(Innovation) takes place for 2 days. It is state level event wherein different competitions are organised by different branches. College level hackathon is also organized where students can present their ideas. The cultural fest (Gandhaar) is the most exciting fest of the college. It is 4 days events where students enjoy their fullest. Different fun competitions like treasure hunt are organised. Traditional day is the most exciting day of Gandhaar. It is the last day and dinner is organized by the college on this day.

The college fees for engineering for open category is Rs149525. The fees is little expensive but it is worth it. College accepts fees in form of Demand draft, cash, NEFT, Online transfer etc. Apart from this, examination fees is to be paid for every semester. Yes, college provides transparency in the fee breakdown. Also scholarships are provided. Apart from this, financial assistance for needy students is provided.

Yes, college provides various scholarship facilities for the students. The eligibility criteria is different for different organizations, but mostly any student with family income below 6 lakhs and an average CGPA above 6 is eligible for opting scholarship. Different organizations like Goldman sachs, persistent, Katalyst provides scholarship for the students. Average sum of persistent scholarship is Rs 40000 per annum.

As our college is girls college, the campus is full of enthusiasm. We celebrate all the festivals in our college. Our college consists of girls from various regions in India. There is official team of robotics of our college. There is also a debate club of college. The labs are well equipped and sports and other extra curricular activities are organised in the campus.

Almost every student gets placed in good position. The alumni as well as the students are very helpful in the campus as well as outside the campus. They are more than happy to help whenever we need them.

MKSSS is a renowned institution which has completed 100 years. Cummins college is good in academics as well as placements. I got admission through CAP process. I filled out the form online and got admission in the CAP process. Then we need to go to the college for further formalities.

Almost all the faculty members are double graduates and 30%of them have completed PHd. Almost 95% lectures are conducted regularly. They make sure that the students become smart by making them look out of the box. All the faculty members have 10+years experience along with industry experience, which help them to provide clarity of the subject to the students.
