Remarks

Ya only one bad remark and that is about weak placement after graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Curriculum is upto date and exam structure is better.in engineering branches total 8 semester exams are to b given after every six month interval.in addition to these semester exam two sessional tests are also being conducted for each subject in every semster.the total duration of course is 4 years

Placement Experience

1.5

In placement the college is lagging far behind.i would say there are few placements but overall the placements are nearly nil here

College Events

3.5

Bazm e mosiqi, annual day, foundation day, freshers party, fairwell parties.sports events like the inter university and inter department football tournament, cricket tournament.the events are usually of huge scale paryicipated by thousands and in some events the chief minister and governer of the union territory of j&k also attend

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was feasible.the fee consists of tution fee for class work, library fee, sports fee, admission fee, examination fees every semester.the mode of payement of fee is through the branch of j&k bank available in the campus.yes there is a transparency in the fee breakdown

Fees and Financial Aid

No i havent opted for any scholarship.the college doesnt provide any scholarship.however you can avail the scholarship from merit cum means scholarship scheme

Campus Life

3.5

The life on the campus is filled with natural enthusiasm.the genderratio is almost 1:1.besides academics a lot of co curricular activities are done like the sports events, gymnaism, group discussions, student union formation elections, debate competitions.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes.the hostel rooms are quiet clean and big.the rooms are of sharing type, atleast three students have to share the room.the common bathrooms are provided for the entire floor.the hostel capacity is enough to accomadate almost all the willing students who opt for hostel

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the seniors are extremely helpful in providing the required academic guidance and materials.they also help by counselling about participating in various events

Admission

By taking part in the common entrance test for engineering held each year and clearing it. The entrance test is based on 11th and 12th non medical subjects, physics chemistry and mathematics.the level of entance test is moderate.u can easily clear it if you have the badic knowledge of the subjects

Faculty

4

I will rate the teaching faculty from excellent to moderate.there are about 45 lectures being taken for each subject in every semester.the teacher help to cover upto 60 to 75 % of the syllabus vin the classes.the practical lab work is sldo good good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
