Remarks
Actually all the pros and cons are been referred above. As said earlier, the extracurricular activities are a disappointment. Academics is the best. And proper examinations are been done timely.
Course Curriculum Overview
Actually we don't have any campus placements for 3rd year students. It's for the final years. The curriculums provided by the Kerala Technological university is a bit outdated i think. Coz in this modern age of developing electronic standards, we are sitting and studying the internal structure of a black and white TV.
Placement Experience
Companies like IBM has visited and placed a few in their company. Other companies are also making their campus interviews. As a third year student i was not able to attend the placement scenario. There is proper training for the final year students for attending the placement interviews.
College Events
Our college hosts technical and cultural festivals very successfully. We have our own technical fest Vibranium which has completed 4 seasons successfully and we have our cultural and arts fest Aaroh which was held last month. The participation in the events were pretty astonishing as there were so many participations from the outside also.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Moderately expensive for the management students and feasible for the merit students. But actually the fee structure is pretty awful as they are so opaque about their fee structure. They needlessly make hikes in the fee without prior notice and many other charges are there which are irrelevant to pay for completing an year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes the college does provide certain types of scholarships for those who scores high grades in the exams. Average sum is approximately about 5000
Campus Life
No such issues have ever happened in the respected college till date. As the gender ratio are almost equal in number there is no discriminations based on caste race etc. The extra curricular activities are poor as compared to many other colleges. The labs are par ok but the sports and others are such a disappointment.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are so helpful that we are treating them as our own batchmates. They involve in all kind of helps if needed.
Admission
I got my engineering entrance result and opted to go for electronics and communication engineering. I applied in a list of colleges and i got my way into this college in the first chance itself. My cousin brother was studying in the same college and that is why i was referred to this college.
Faculty
The faculties are taking their role with basic knowledge. No more and no less. Some are excellent whereas some are horrible. We have proper facilities for reviewing our faculties and giving them accurate regards. They are good and serve their job sincerely i think.
