Remarks
There is no bullying in MPSTME. The security of the college is great with cameras and sensors everywhere. The entrance to the college is also done using fingerprint only.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course Curriculum and Exam Structure is great. The system of internal exams called ICA- Internal Continous Assessment, and external papers called TEE- Term End Exams is balanced well. ICA is of 30 marks, and TEE is of 70 marks. You also have internal grades depending on your behaviour, lab sessions, journal submissions, etc.
Placement Experience
I have not availed of any internships from the college. I did apply out by myself, and the college did help me with a letter and everything.
College Events
Multiple events happen every month. Depending on the current scenario, there are waste paper drives, beach clean up events, cycling competitions, robot competitions, student fest, games hosted by seniors, etc. The list goes on. There are multiple sports competitions in college, and also inter-college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is how any good institute would have. The fees are a little high, ever soo slightly, but the infrastructure, library, canteen food, equipment in the lab, Softwares for students, AC, Wi-Fi, etc adds up and makes it feel worth it. In general, it is a feasible amount.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not opt for a scholarship or education loan, so I genuinely have no idea on this, but the college will be more than happy to help you out.
Campus Life
Campus life is fun. The gender ratio is fairly good. Depending on the degree. Extracurricular activities are tons. Cycling competitions, student fests, robot competitions, debates, sports competitions, etc, There are a lot of extracurricular activities.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are helpful in terms of what to expect in the next academic year. They helped us understand what subjects require more importance, and they also helped us with coding, project work, etc.
Admission
The admission process was very easy. You had to be present during the admission date with the necessary documents. Depending on your marks, they would give you a number, and depending on the number of slots available, you will either get in or not. After applying, you will get a confirmation from the campus regarding the admission.
Faculty
We had approximately 5 hours of lectures every day. The lecturers are all very skilled with a lot of professional expertise and experience to back them. Most of them have 7-10 years of teaching experience. All the faculties are very clear on their subject and topics and tend to student doubts without any hesitation.
