My college in my eyes

There is nothing negative to say about my college. This college is situated in the proper place with proper communication system. Any student can reach this college by bus or by train. Though that time the buildings are not so updated now the buildings are quite modified and modern. So for this time the college is only the bearer of positive remarks.

I was the student of literature, henceforth there was no practical for lab based classes. We all attended our literature or language classes regularly. The teachers taught regularly regularly and comprehensively. That time the exam was divided in 3 tier. Now there is the semester system and the three years are divided into 6 semester.

Our college,being a general degree college, does not help us for placements directly like the engineering or medical colleges. When we read in this college some companies like Flipkart Amazon frankfinn came to our college and they interviewed the students of English honours.

The college is set in Inda in the Kharagpur town. We witness almost all the cultural programs. The college has its own cultural function. The first year students are welcomed with a freshers day program. There is a sports day also. During the year the college invites an eminent star performer the stage.

The college fees for the students are quite feasible. When I was a student of this college I need to pay only 3500 for a whole session. This time the fee structure is changed along with the semester system. Now the students need to pay about 3000 per semester.

The college does not directly provide any scholarships to the students. The help of the students in getting all the government scholarship if they are eligible for that. Also the college helps the students in getting loan from banks by providing proper detail of the student.

Though I was a student of that section I used to visit the labs with my friends. In my opinion the laboratories that time and the present time are totally different. Nowadays the laboratories are quite changed and modified. For the sports lover there is a huge hall room for indoor games. The college also arranges outdoor games and inter college sports championship from time to time.

Now I am not the student of this college anymore but I have joined the alumni network. I am quite happy to join this help me be in contact with the college by providing news and happenings of the college from time to time.

I was an art student in the hs course. I wanted to continue my graduation with geography Honours but YouTube lack of money I opted for my second choice English honours. To get admitted in this college I had to fill up the admission form and there was a merit list published according to merit points. The merit point was calculated with the applied subject marks added with 10% of the total marks.

When I used to read in this college there was three permanent teachers and three guest lecturers. All of them were highly qualified. Our h o d was a PhD in English. The audit department teachers were M.Phil. All of them taught us with proper care and guidance. I am fighting grateful to them.
