Our campus have 11 college's out of which one college is Dr.D.Y.Patil College of Engineering Akurdi.Students come here as the infrastructure is quite good our college has a competitor that is we have 2 college's nearby in our area so there is a great competition regarding the results and placement

As our college comes under Savitri Bai Phule Pune University the curriculum is fixed in our college as well as the college's under Savitri Bai Phule Pune University the curriculum has been recently change where we were having Fundamentals of programing Language in first year now the first year Directly have Python in there syllabus which is a pleasent and a great deal

Placements are quite good as our department have been placed around 80-85% placed with the average package of around 3.5-4.5 lakhs per annum our faculties as well as Training and placement cell works hard for this students are placed in reputed company's such as Cognizant , Capgemini , Infosys , Godrej etc

There are many events organized in our college we have are our Fest in the month of January- February depending on the other issues such as budget , Day , Date etc. This year the technical fest consist of more than 1000 plus participants which also includes from different colleges and the prize money was upto 1 lakh the publicity was done in 4 days.

As i got a seat in government quota i.e. Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme(TFWS) my fees is around 9000/- which is feasible but when it goes in general quito it goes upto 103000/- which i think is bit more but capmpared to other institutes its not so much high or low and now for the batch the fees structure have been change and i guess it's nearly 80000- 90000-/-

They are comparatively good we have around 100-150 personal computers in our software lab and around 20-30 personal computers in our hardware lab for students.Which excludes the computers of faculty

I have not opted to hostel or any facilities but some of my friends are in hostel and I have a talk with them they say the food quality is good but it's not worth it the fees of hostel as well as Fooding part goes more than the college fees.

We have a great network with alumni as they are part of college some alumi comes in our college as an Entrepreneur to provide placements for students as well many comes as a panel whether it be technical , Human resource etc

Actually the admission process was on the basis of Common Entrance Test i.e CET i scored 112 in CET so i got admission on the basis of TFWS seat which is a government seat that measn every college have 3 seats for every branch respectively as well as when I entered for the admission process inside the campus the campus is extremely good

I think faculty plays an important role in our life because of we are good with them they to are good with us we have aroung 25-30 working faculties under our computer department where we interact with them while they share there experience with us and we deal with problems every lab have lab assistant while as per university norms lectures and practical teaching is been done
