Course Curriculum Overview
Nah, it's pretty outdated. The course is not at all aligned with what is taught I'm the industry. Everything in the practical use is so advance and we were taught nothing close to what it is in real life. It is not even research driven. And if at all it is, it is not that known
Placement Experience
Placement of our college is super classy. Students come to our college to get placed. The placement is really good. The internship for my branch wasn't that available but for other branches it was and it was really good. The packages provided are good too. You cannot doubt the placement of my college ag all. It is the one good thing that makes my college one of the best colleges in the state.
College Events
There are 3 fests on the college level, Technovanza, Enthusiasm & Pratibimb; technical, sports & cultural fests; respectively. Fests is also what makes our college famous. It is visited by eminent personalities. Students organize all these on their own.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is expensive. But there are many scholarships available. One must know how to obtain it. We have a scholarship department dedicated to scholarships. Government scholarships as well as private scholarships are both available. One needs to look for the notice regarding it put up on the website
Fees and Financial Aid
I opted for the government scholarship. As I mentioned, our college had a department dedicated only for scholarships, I applied, got my documents right and the college took my application forward.
Campus Life
My branch had a huge gender gap. We were 15 girls in the class of 75 boys. We didn't have much competitions. Our labs were old, so were our equipments. Our department didn't have much to offer. There was no gender bias but we didn't have much opportunities to learn and grow in the first place.
Hostel Facilities
No. I have not opted for hostels. I am from Mumbai hence I used to stay in my house. Hostels of my college are not that great. It doesn't even have basic facilities. Washing machines are not available. Rooms are small and dirty and no cleaning services available
Alumni/Alumna
They are helpful. They are the reason our college runs. Our college has a department dedicated to all the alumni. We have meet every year and most of our alumni contribute generously
Admission
I had created an account on the site, I don't recall the name of the site now. They had dates for different processes. I applied through the site and got through in the first round. I had applied for 9 branches in engineering of the same college and got through
Faculty
We didn't have good faculties at all. There are few good professors but beyond that no good teachers. Lots of the teachers are contractual and hence do not know much about the subjects that they teach. They hardly know anything of what they teach. Hence, we lack good professors.
