Secured 30000 rank in AIEEE got my branch of choice that is electrical engineering and i took admission into this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Electrical basics, machines, power system, control system,advance control system, advance power system, english, humanities, Industrial ethics and values in profesion, analog electronics, digital electronics.
Internships Opportunities
I had undergone a training at national thermal power corporation power plant we did not went for any internship.and the company visited were software companies like tcs, infosys and wipro.
Placement Experience
It was good at that time for those who opted to go into software sector but was very difficult for them who planned to be with the core sector that is in the field of electrical engineering.
College Events
Many technical fest were held annually in our college we also participated in many workshops on matlab, pspice, ect also every year cultural fest was celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure at time was feasible. It was not that high but may have been increased by now which may be a higher one.In our time the annual fees was around 50000 rupees per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have no neither applied or required any scholarship from my college btu as far as i know some poor student who were economically weak were awarded scholarship.
Campus Life
It was nice we learned a lot as a campus college has all the necesary infrastructure required for the students, like lab, workshops, library, robotics, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility was satifactory and the food was ok though one sould not expect much during hostel life but ample amenities were provided.
Exam Structure
The exam structure was as per the west bengal university of technology guidelines which comprises of practicals and theoritical exams semester wise.
Faculty
The faculty was very good in my college at that time and the bacis were taken care of we were also exposed to labs and practicals which helped us a lot in enhancing our basics in the field of electrical engineering.
