Positive remarks include placements and campus atmosphere. Our campus is having a 125 acre plot it gives us enough points for hangouts within the college itself. Faculties are highly qualified and have greater depth knowyin topic. Negative remark is about some points in the college which is very polluted with plastics and all our campus is not plastic free campus.

As I have only enrolled to this course in 2019. As we all know first year we study only basic science and introduction to our course.As far as now the carriculam looks fine but some topics seems to no useless as an electrical and electronics engineer.This college is the first Engineering college in kerala established even before the independence of india.some lab equipments are imported from other countries during those years and they are still working.

As inhave explained earlier the placement cell of this college is working active in bringing top companies to our college for placements.we can see wide range of companies that take part in our placement rounds.ABB, Amadeus, analog devices, Apolo munich, byjus, Amazon, Bosch, Infosys, ibm, wipro, siemens, cognizant, oracle, lt&s, keltron, kseb, tcs.etc are some common recruiters.as our college and Bosch is having close tie-ups they come to our college every year.most of the modern tools in our college labs is provided by Bosch.

There are many fests happeing in our college. 1)Disha- first years fresher. 2)Dhrishti-tech fest. 3) Dhwani-known as big d is the second largest cultural fest of South india, after nit-k ragam. 4)Tesla-EEE department tech fest. 5) pantheon -civil department fest. 6)Tharangam-mtech freshers. 7)sargam-cet arts fest. And many more events conducted by various clubs in our college like film club, h20, cycling club etc.

Tuition fee is very less as government fees is just 8200 per year.but the problem is with hostel fee it ranges from 3500-6000 (including other expanses). tuition fee excludes examr registeration fee which varies between 1500-2000 in every semester.in total a year around 12000 rs is required.

There are many scholarships available in our college itself.Gems scholarship by aluminI association, scholarship by PTA are some examples of it.and all other scholarship like mcms, e grantz are given for students studying in cet first.I have applied for gems scholarship and e grantz.loan facilities are also good. but the reality is there is actually no need for loan.as our course expenditure will be around 200000 only.

Our college has many clubs that will enhance our extra carriculam activities, film club for artists, h20 and nss for special interaction, robo cet, iet lab for technical knowledge, also tinker hub, ieee, sae are having active participation from our college.cet sb is famous in ieee.

In college hostel there are only limited number of seats for boys.while in case of girls almost 90%of girls can be accommodated in ladies hostel.around 3000 rupees will be the total expenses including food if staying in college hostel.But there are lots of PGs available as iam staying in one of them.this ranges from 4000-6000 depending on owner.Some will charge extra for electricity and water and some will not.that is completely dependent on the owner.there are many pgs available without food.it will be around 1500-2500 in which we get room and food has to be taken from outside.That is somewhat good as there are some hotels that will arrange mess for us at considerable rates.

Alumnies keep a close contact with our college and students. Cetaa is the association of alumnies in our college.They give motivation for students to face placements, they also encourage the company in which they are working to recruit students from cet.Cet alumnies are all over the world so this wide network helps upcoming students to get an exposure.

After the completion of higher secondary education (+2) we have to undergo an entrance examination known as Kerala Engineering And Medical entrance examination (KEAM).As this college is the top ranked engineering college in Kerala ranks should be higher to get admission here.My entrance rank was 2475 and I got admission only during spot allotment. Here all the engineering streams are having high demand among students and also among recruiters.primary reason for taking admission in this college is placement.

Most of the faculties are having greater depth knowledge in the subject.The problem is with some guest lecturers or trainies.All the aged faculties are great, they may or may not be an alumnI of that college itself.They have passed engineering when there was only 4 colleges in kerala.That is more than enough to understand their potential.Most of the facilities are having PhD and rest will be doing researches to get one.So our doubts regarding any subjects can be cleared with ease.
