Remarks

All I can say about college is that it very positive, our college have a very relaxing exam pattern, our college organizes fests which are both technical and non technical, which helps us to relax our mood

Course Curriculum Overview

Here couse structure Is very good and competive as I as student like the course structure very much, and Exam pattern of JUIT is also very relaxing, In one semester there are 3 exams T1, T2, T3 each 15, 25, 35 marks respectively

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities here are very good and how much I have heard the internship opportunities are very good, they help us to shape ourselves and prepare ourselves for comming future, and stipend paid by companies is also very good

College Events

There are many events organised in our college both technical and non- technical, technical events comprise of hackathon, technical fests etc. non - technical events include singing, dancing and many other cultural activities

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our fee structure is very feasible, Our fee structure comprise of adcadmic and hostel fees, academic fee includes course fee which is 95000 and hostel fee includes hostel, mess, laundry etc which is 49500

Fees and Financial Aid

No I don't know anything of scholarship or loan offers availed by college, but all I can tell you is that if a student has any kind of problem regarding the fee structure, the college will do everything in its power to help hjm

Campus Life

As our college is vast university so we have lots of departments which have prope, sufficiently well equipped labs that help us in our study, we have many sports activities, and sports events that allows us to work on our health

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni and senior students are very helpful, senior students help us a lot during our tenure of four years, and alumni helps us with the internships and placement queries, henceforth both alumni and senior come to our help when we need it

Admission

I got selected thourough my Jee Mains rank and then I went to Delhi to JIIT to submit my records, so I went there for counseling and selected computer Science branch In JUIT, then I submitted my records and went for JUIT

Faculty

Teacher here are very qualified and are very forth comming, that is teacher here are very helpful, and very honest towards there marking criteria. Teachers help us to understand each topic very carefully.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I applied for Chitkara, Cu, Du, HPU, SRM etc and the main reason I choose this college is because of the studies, placement and location. The study culuter in this unversity is very good as compared to other university . The student Teacher ratio not very large as compared to the other university which give every students a chance to stand out and get better results . I got acceptance from cu , du and 2 or 3 other colleges. Yes i also got rejections from colleges like SRM , VIT for not scoring a good percentile in jee and the fees and cost of living there i svery high as compare to JUIT . The admission process is very easy students can apply on the basis of their boards marks or on the basis of their JEE exams as well . After that students can attend the counselling sessions where they can vbisit the college get to know about the college . the admission staff is very helpful and they guide the students and family step by step throught out the whole process....Read More

JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements. I had got admission in Jaypee noida but in 128 sector and also stream was IT which I didn't preferred so I left that.
