Remarks

K.C.COLLEGE if looked by an outsider's point of view must be and average college but in reality the college is good and studies here gives students a habbit of self dependence and good ethics. The atmosphere of the college is very good, teachers are very nice and kind.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure is quite good as it is divided into 6 semester with 2 semester in a year to be studied. Each semester consists of one complete programming language subject the one subject on electronic hardware like microprocessors, ICs etc. Subject like communication skills are also practiced well. Days with 2 lab sessions and 3-4 lectures leave the hectic and something it makes even interesting.

Placement Experience

3

The placements of the college are reviewed average by the seniors but I believe that students who have real talent and have worked hard for success and knowledge and can make thourough open opportunities for placements.

College Events

5

The main event celebrated in K.C.COLLEGE is the KIRAN fest and I loved toh participate and experience the festival atmosphere in the college. KIRAN fest is a combined fest i.e. cultural and technical both. BSc.IT had a separate corner/place in KIRAN fest and that is Systematic Chaos where all tech related events happen and it enjoyed by everyone.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure at K.C.COLLEGE is average in my opinion and the college as well provides various scholarships for the students. I am from C.B.S.E. background and I had to pay 600 more for that and extra 300 for documents verification and the rest normal fees was 24900/-.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college gives chance to apply for scholarships and it is a very good chance for everyone to avail for it and the process to avail for the scholarship is very simple. In order to avail for the scholarship we just have to fill up a form and submit in the college office.

Campus Life

3.5

The extracurricular activities and labs and sports activities at K.C.COLLEGE are very good and everything is practiced very well. In fact KC college has its own premier League for cricket which is basically an interdepartment competition which allows students of all the years to comprise and make up a single team and compete with each other.

Alumni/Alumna

I don't know much about the connection with alumni connection of KC.COLLEGE. As I never heard till now that people talkimg about alumni interaction or something. But yes the seniors of the college are very helpful and guide smart tricks for projects and assignments this culture leaves a better impact on juniors and we also guide our juniors the same way.

Admission

I want to join defence force so just for the sake of graduation I wanted to get a easy course for me as in class 12th I had computer science and I was good at C++ coding so I chose to do BSc.IT, but when I got into Bsc it I started searching for careers in bscit and I also found it interesting as an individual to have a good scope in it field one should start doing coding practice and other small project from 2nd year only as it brings immmence good feeling when program gets compiled.

Faculty

4

Faculty of the college are very hard working as they always focus on the chance to steal time and give lectures to students and make the concepts clear. The teachers at the college as well as the office staff are helpful and cooperative.the teaching faculty and HOD are well qualified and dinamic teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
