Jyothi is both positive and negative in various cases.it will be according to the character of the case and also jyothi always encourages to score high marks in exams and the things which apart from academics is not much encouraged.
Course Curriculum Overview
KTU is the university which is dealing with the course syllabus and exams. And I am not much satisfied with the course curriculum and the exam structure. It's just like making a broiler chickens by injecting so many theory subjects and exams valuation is just like a business.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are there but most of them are coming from IT companies and software companies.And for other branches like Mechanical, electrical, electronic, civil etc. The chances are less.
College Events
Jyothi conducts several events mainly Tharang it is state level techno culture fest conducted annually by the students of Jyothi. Also arts day, sports day, college day, union day, merit day, graduation day etc. are other events celebrated every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Jyothi has a common fee structure like as other college which came under same university. And for the students with great ranks in entrance exam there is fee discount for them. Jyothi also provide free education for the students who are financially backward but briliant at studies.

Campus Life
For extracurricular activities jyothi is conducting arts day and sports day annually but it is not much encouraged fully because of restrictions. Also there are NSS unit in our college and various clubs like natura club, photography club, department societies, Entrepreneur development cell etc.
Hostel Facilities
I am a day scholar so don't know much about the hostel and it's infrastructure or facilities. According to the opinion of my friends who are staying in hostels days that it's like a jail and have no much freedom.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni is not much strong but their support for various events in the college is more. From the part of the alumni we have a beautiful hangout place called alumini corner. Also various talks are conducted by the successful alumini and also helps to get connection.
Admission
I want to be a Marine engineering actually and on that way I heard that Mechanical Engineering is a good option and Jyothi is a nearby college. That's why I put my option on Jyothi Engineering College.
Faculty
In the case of academics Jyothi is a best option because of well qualified faculties and facilities.Other than studies extracurricular activities are not much encouraged.Also the sanction taking process is a very hard process.
