I got through KEAM, Kerala Entrance, I got about 17,000 rank and I got in second allotment for civil. Its near my house ie in a travelling distance. Actually I selected this my cousin referred this college and its one of the top self financing college having good results on Kerala University.

We visited several work sites like metro rail in kochi and GSI, bangalore if we gave any for visit(actual visits) then they will approve it.

Don't know much about this because IT firm don't concentrate on CIvil Engg students, but from IT, Computer Science, Electrical and EC engg there is good percentage of placement for students. Infosys, TCS, i don't know about the package they offered.

All department has its own tech fest and Cultural fest for college is called crossroad to say about crossroad they are good and 2nd best in trivandrum after CET, Trivandrum fest(my view) in technical fest most of colleges participate and there is entrepreneurship cell and fest for innovative ideas and designing field some of students already started some startups.

If you got through merit you can avail scholarship merit cum means on that you will be getting rs 25k/year( you need to pass in all papers on university exam) this scholarship is by government and from the college management they will provide rs 18k/ 2 year and for below poverty students BPL the amount is about 90k/2 years. Loans are available the management is so friendly if you are having any problem financially they will allow concession, all you need is ask they will check that its genuine or not), one of my friend got that from the management so i'm saying.

Campus life yeah its good, cant bunk classes its a closed campus. you cant do any extracurricular activities on academic hours, Gender ratio most of the department boys are the minority, In mechanical department in 120 students rarely there will be 3-10 girls. Lab they are good assistants will help you and there are a lot of equipments there are competiotons.

Hostel is great it's a christian college so the warden is bursar he is very strict you need to get in the hostel before 6 pm. For first years there will be common room which is having 30k/year and In 3rd onwards you need to shift 2 bed or single bed room which has rs 40k/year you can avail your own accommodation because the college is within the city and there are a lot of private hostels and food in the college is good(you will not catch any fever) i don't know much about girls hostel.

Senior students are good(ps no ragging) there are alumni meetings but don't know much about the alumni students.

To say about Faculty, they are excellent, well experienced some of the faculty s are very strict and will make our college life bit hard, because they will not boost our internals for university exam, they just put what we get on sessional examinations. The main advantage is in all semester they cover all the topic for exam. Maybe that's the reason our college is having good pass out percentage in university exam( >70% in our department.
