Shivaji College - A culturally rich place

As of now, the campus might appear to be small, but after the inauguration of the new building, which is under construction, the campus will be mighty enough to hold an army. The faculty is great. Most of all, one will have the best college life here with regards to co-curricular activities.

The course I've opted gives us an upper hand in science and research, as it covers all essential subjects such as Physics, maths and Computer Science. The classes and labs will not bother your timeline, it'll be smooth and easy. The exam structure is as mandated by the Delhi University, i.e. an internal exam anywhere between semesters, and a semester exam for the whole University.

There is a dedicated placement cell, offering exciting internship offers and campus placements. One of the students of our college was recently picked up by Nat Geo for a very exciting package of around 1.7 crores.

Innumerable events are organised by several cultural societies of the college along with Vibrations-The Annual Cultural Fest of Shivaji College. The college is almost always in a festive mood with decorative arts and crafts filling up the place. It'll be a very hard task to list out all of the events in such a place. There are seven cultural societies along with other societies organising various events and competitions round the year

Feasible fee structure. When it comes to the amenities and facilities available in the college, the fee structure is highly appreciated. It's very low, and complying to Delhi University standards. Around 23000 for science courses.

Scholarships provided by Delhi University, and various interesting scholarships are being offered depending upon the students category. Loan facility, as of my knowledge, is not provided directly by the college, but may refer to banking services for more information.

The college is a grand hub for cultural societies and activities. The support from the faculty is also highly appreciable and the students are getting a good exposure of their talents in the cultural world.

The alumni has been very supportive and often visit the college frequently. The senior students are also very helpful when it comes to academics as well as co-curricular activities. The seniors are fun and chill, and help you to rax amidst a painful time.

The admission to Shivaji College happens completely thourough the Delhi University admission portal. Once the cutoff list is released, one must apply for the college online and then approach the college with hard copies of required documents.

The faculty here is great. The teachers are really helpful regarding the subjects, and even for out of the box doubts. They are really very understanding when it comes to the socially and culturally active students and events.
