The college has good educational facilities such as smart classes and many others things.
The college also has a very big sports ground where we can play various sports.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is according to the NEP that was introduced in 2022 and it is relevant and to the point. It well applies to the real world applications or further academic courses. It is also easy to understand for everyone.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 20605 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college do gives many intership opportunites but I have never tried one. So I don't know much about the internship opportunities available in my college as I have no interest in seeking it. I am happy with pursuing my degree itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees I pay is around 20000 rupees. The admission fees was 20605 rupees. I also have to pay examination fees for DU semester exams of around 1500 rupees every semester. For the 3rd year I paid 19400 rupees

Campus Life

The college has a good campus life as it has various social aspects that can improve your social skills. For example: it has various societies and club which you can join to enhance yourself in that particular area.

Admission

I never wanted to choose this college but somehow I got this college. My first priority was St. Stephen's College as it is very good college with good reputation and exellence. Other than that I also applied for Christ Unversity in Ghaziabad and JIMs college in Rohini.

Faculty

The faculty members of my college are smart, intelligent and highly qualified. My course is BA(Honours)Geography and its course structure is as follows: 3 DSC from semester 1 to 6 and DSE from semster 5th onwards with other subjects such as SEC, VAC, AEC and GE. DU has 90 marks paper for main core subjects or main course that you have opted.

Night Life

I actually don't know the nightlife around my college because I don't live anywhere around my college and I am from Delhi itself so I don't have to take to pg or flat around my college. My home is very far from this college. So don't stay overnight around my college.

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

KMC and DU reality and my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

It's a decent college, but better than many other colleges

DU intakes admission on the basis of CUET UG exam, and then there's the reservations for all categories, so basically your admission is based on the CUET marks and reservations, and then you get a chance to make a preference list of colleges and courses and then DU allots you a seat based on your preference list and your marks as per category....Read More

Shivaji College is Student Friendly!

Admission are through UG CUET and a score of 600-620 our of 800 is usually the cut-off for Shivaji College, Delhi. Not so good Not so bad

I already know about CUET because in my school some teachers came to our school to guide us about CUET .So after my 12th i started preparing for CUET as I already fill the form before my boards on CUET SAMARTH and the application fee was around 1500 for 7 subjects and it differ how many subject u have chosen then after my boards CUET exam date has been came and admit card also a.Then I gave my exams but the exam centre were not so good they were like so far and the area around the centre was not that great.After that I fill the form for DU admission on CSAS portal and it costed around 250 for SC and I gues for general it was about 500.Then CSAS portal has three application phases 1st is for the normal application form,2nd phase is for the reservation and 3rd is for the preference filling and then u wait for the result.And in 1st round I got PGDAV but I upgraded and got Shivaji college which is near to my home and I got botany hons in that....Read More
