Course Curriculum Overview

4

I'm Persuing BscIT in this college and the course is pretty much cool and very trendy in the market and i would like to recommend to anyone who is looking something below than engineering. But the Labs here is bit poor and practical work is bit below expectation but pretty much sure that it will changed in the upcoming years.

Placement Experience

0.5

Everything is good in this college but placements are very very poor as this college is new in the market. There are 0 placements in the college. But this year some companies came for marketing course. The companies were very new in the market too and they were mostly startup based. The only known and pretty much famous was "Hitachi".

College Events

4

The college is new in the market so definately they dont have much to invest for the festivals and events. The one and only festival is "Prarambh" which is celebrated but as great as you might have seen in other colleges. The other events would be days like Saree, formals etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Though the college is new but is affiliated with mumbai university and follows their pattern. The fee structure is feasible and same as other known colleges. But the best thing is that this college provides you 'AC' which hardly any college would provide you.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes. There are scholarships and very great scholarships i would say. The A, A+ and 0 grade students get the scholarships. The scholarships would be like A grade student would pay 8k less than actual fess.A+ grade student would pay 10k less. O grade student would 13k less. If you are state level sports player in the current year then you would get 40% fee back. Thats great.

Campus Life

4

There are less number of girls than boys which is obvious. There were student counceling workshops. Extracurricular activities like sports day is conducted.Different days are celebrated. Its really good and full of fun.

Hostel Facilities

3

There is not campus in this college and No hostel facilities and i dont think this college would really need this for the 4-5 years as this college is new in the market with zero placement so definately no one would leave their house come here.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is actually not great i would and i really dont know the reason but in the upcoming years it would definatley changed. But yes the seniors are helpful and very good by nature.I remeber a senior guy helped me making my project.

Admission

I got admission in the college thourough merit list process. This college is affiliated with Mumbai University so you have to follow the process which Mumbai University follows. Here the admission is slightly easier as it is new in the business.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is great except one or two teacher but they mostly help you out.Nothing much but its above average. Some of the faculty dont have practical knowledge but were assigned and the student really suffered.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
