Remarks

Learning here is very good, infrastructure is good. I would recommend this college if you wanna be a chef. College has a library too with 1000+ books to learn from. College is well disciplined and regulatory too.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum comprises of each and every aspect and technical knowledge of culinary. The course is well structured for those who wish to be a chef in future. It provides in depth thorough knowledge of each and every bit of culinary field Exams aren't easy obviously both theory and practicals are important to excell.

Placement Experience

4

This college provides ample of interview opportunities for students to appear for. These interviews inudes hotels and resorts which are five star properties or high end hotels, chain of hotels, group of hotels, etc. Hotels like Taj gropy, Oberoi group, renaissance, four seasons, ke Marriot, Sahara star are the top interviewers.

College Events

4

Dy patil stadium is always busy with some or other events going on. Recently, the famous Katy Perry and dua lipa concert was held here. Right now, the cricket legends dinesh karthik, sachin tendulkar and all the retired cricket players have been here to visit and play on our stadium. This entire campus has always been visited by some or other vips. There's fresher's party, cultural week, sports week too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure I would say is somewhat expensive unlike government colleges, it is double that it. Fee structure involves the uniform fees, toolkit fees, stationary fees, lecture fees, exam fees, etc. Fee structure is divided into two semesters where each semester's fee would go up roughly around one lakh rupees.

Fees and Financial Aid

One can opt for education loan thourough the banks. There is no such loan facility that the college offers but one can solely apply to the bank and college will provide the necessary documents for the successful disbursement of loan.

Campus Life

4.5

The extracurricular activites are pretty good and occupying. Students can take part in sports or be a part of cultural committee which conducts events in the college thouroughout the year starting from freshers party.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very good, with polite behaviour, helping nature. They do not support ragging. This institute is ragging free. Seniors help in various activities and assignments too. They share their knowledge with us.

Admission

It had the exact course that i wished for which is structured for those who want to be professional chefs. The admission process is simple. The college does not need any entrance exam or merit list. You can take admission just by walking in, seeing the campus, submitting documents and paying fees.

Faculty

4

Faculties are well trained and qualified to teach the students. They give in their best in order to make students learn the key parts of the subjects and absorb the knowledge to it's core. Faculties are persistent to make students learn every part of the particular subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
