BIT Meerut Review

Overall, in my opinion BIT is one the best college. I have seen various other colleges also but personally I didn't find a good environment like my college. Most of my classmates got placed in good companies. So, I'm really happy to be a part of my college.

All the courses are approved by AICTE and AKTU, Lucknow. College have good environment. Well maintained classrooms and also have labs where students perform practicals. Special arrangements when there is a special lecture. Some lectures are done with the help of projector and presentation to deliver the best experience to students.

Every year more than 40-50 companies visit the campus. Some students are also placed in pool drives that held in other colleges. This year most of the students placed in TCS, Wipro, Amazon, To The New, Web Bee, Nucleus Software and many others. Overall the CADC department of college help students to get placed in reputed companies.

There are different sorts of activities that are done in our college. Every year annual fest is celebrated. Not only cultural fest but also sports and other creative activities are done. Our college also have ACM chapter where lots of technical stuff and knowledge is provided to the students.

It's very less than compared to other colleges in the city. This includes different things such as books fees, Personality Development Program fees, Tuition fees, Refundable security amount. So, students will get complete benefits for which that have paid.

College doesn't offer any scholarship. But students can apply for government scholarships offered by both the state and Central government. If any student can't afford to pay he/she can take admission on scholarship basis or can take education loan.

There are club for every activities like cultural, sports, technical, literary who organise some sort of activities every weekend where students can participate from any department. Labs are open full day students can go there and do there study. Labs have very silent environment. And also students can go in library where thousands books are available. Students can also acess journals from IEEE, ACM and many other publishers.

I am a day scholar. But lots my friends are hostels. Hotel is equipped with best facilities and mess food is also good. Stationary and canteen are very near to hostel so the students can buy anything that they want. Medical and saloon facility is also available for all the students.

All my seniors helped me a lot. I still talk to them. They always advice me to be serious and focused towards my studies and I followed their suggestions. I also got placed from college. Every year alumni meet is organised by the college where all the alumnus share their experiences about their college life. And these sessions help students to get in direct contact with their seniors.

One of my relative told me about the college reputation and it is one of the best college in city. So, I went there and got admission. But admission can also be taken by appearing for UPSEE exam which is held every year.

All the faculties are from top IITs and NITs with masters and postgraduate degrees. Most of faculties have more than 13 years of experience in the field of teaching. They also help students to publish the research paper. And students are free to ask for doubt by approaching the subject faculty cabin.
