My college- [MBITS], Ernakulam

The college is an excellent place to build your skills. We can clear our doubts and get a clear view of the course, we will be able to solve problems on an engineering level with the help of modern state of art equipment and we will be able to communicate with society with confidence and manners.

The course completes in 4 years, each year consisted of 2 semesters. At the end of each semester, an exam is conducted by the university the college provided internal exams to find Out our flaws and they corrected them. There are 2 labs in each semester, labs are well equipped and the faculty also helps us to get an idea about the mechanism.

More than 20 companies give us job opportunities with stipends of more than 20000 rupees, more than 90 percent of the students of our college were placed last year itself. Companies like Wipro, Infosys also conducted placement. Our placement is well known that students from neighboring colleges also join us for placement.

College day is celebrated every year students get to showcase their talents confront eminent personalities. Arts day is conducted to encourage every student to improve their skills and talents. Sports day is provided for the athletes and players. Many more programmes are conducted to improve the student's skills and for entertainment.

Tuition fees are about 40000 per year for merit seat hostel fees are 5000 for a month and other fees about 3000 per year. Other fees includes internet access fees, college day fees, and other charges for the functions.

Loans are available from banks and scholarships are provided by the college management. Many other scholarships are also provided by private companies. I have been availed of a scholarship by the management as my family income is less than 100000. I have got a decrement of 50 percentage of the tuition fees.

Extracurricular activities in the college include football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess carroms, and many more items like music club for singers and for instruments like piano, violin, guitar, drums, flute, etc, and dance club, media club, etc.

Hostel fees are 5000 per month 1200 for unattached and 1500 for attached rooms. Food costs 120 per day.4 students in a room. The room is spacious study desks and beds are provided. The water is also clean. The hostel rooms are cleaned by the staff every 3 days.

Alumni helped to improve the gym and to improve the aesthetic appearance of the college by providing plants and funds. They sponsor many things for the college like sports items and funds for workshops and for the projects of senior students.

The admission procedures were very simple, I just had to provide my certificates and they did the rest, they were very calm and helped me get the admission without any fuss. The college management was also kind enough to grant me a scholarship based on my marks. They provided scholarships for minorities too, for financially backward students they also extend the time for fees payment.

The faculty members are well qualified and experienced. They are ready to help us at any time, they provide us with extra knowledge other than the written ones. They always have a pleasant smile on their face. They consider us as their own children and corrects us if we made mistakes.
