Course Curriculum Overview
Internal exams are conducted by college. They conduct 3 times written and 1 time lab test in each semester. External exams are conducted by UPTU once in each semester. Total sum is internal and external weightage of internal and external in final result varies in different years.
Placement Experience
If anyone sees number of placements its pretty good. But if anyone compares the areas in which students are placed with the specialiaged area they studied you will be disappointed since most of the job students get here is in IT sector. Very less companies for Electrical, Mechanical or Civil come for placement drive. Also this was situation around 4 years back.
College Events
Epoque is the annual fest spans around 3- 4 days. On the final day it is the DJ night, in this a Bollywood singer comes to perform. Rest days various cultural programs are presented by students. Apart this there are several technical competition held by where other colleges students also participate. Plus they have also have annual sports competition.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Well it is pretty moderate when I joined it was around 85000 per year for college which become 120000 for the first year. They'll let you know the fees for all 4 years in first year it self. They don't increase fees for existing students unlike done by some colleges which is good here.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is offered by university not college, Which is around 90000 it varies with category. General/OBC students whose family income is less then 1L are eligible for this and for SC/ST this is 2L. But I don't think each and everyone who is eligible got the scholarship. Not too muxn sure since I wasn't eligible.
Campus Life
They have cricket, football, lawn tennis, badminton, volleyball and basketball grounds separately. They also have gym and table tennis, and pool tables. It is pretty for sports facilities wise. For every eligible technical subject they conduct labs once a week. One temple is also inside the campus. They don't do any discrimination in any means. Also no ragging at all.
Hostel Facilities
Fees was around 84000 for single seater in 4th year they increase hosted fees 5 thoduand every year. Infrastructure is good they provide you WiFi, water cooler, bed and almirah. Food is okay but breakfast is good. Near by PGs will cost around 25000 less from campus hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, they one alumni platform on almaconnect. Where alumni provide latest job offering in their companies. Plus they page on Facebook on which they share news of the college. I don't have not so much interaction but it kind of feels attached to the college thourough these.
Admission
To get admission you need to valid UPSEET/AIEEE score after that you can take part in counselling held by UPTU and based upon rank you get the college rank must be under 8000 to get admission in this college not considering any quotas, also it varies according to branch you opt. They also take admission thourough management quota that is merit and other stuff.
Faculty
Good faculty combination of young minds and experience teachers. Although not so impressed by lab assistants. Few faculties are good enough so they can guide to exams like GATE and PSUs so that you don't require external coaching to perform very well.
