Remarks

Are college is a great institution to study nutrition and dietetics they provide very good curriculum and knowledgeable faculty, the college fees also not expensive and provide you a great opportunity of research internship and food product development.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Semester pattern exam structure, very practical based real life applicable syllabus, also includes research and intership which gives better practical approach to the market, also product development is part of our curriculum, it was great experience.

Placement Experience

2.5

Yes, our college does provide intership, but it is unpaid and for the period of 1 to 1.5 months only, it was very good experience to the practical World. Great learning experience and also we got to know how company works.

College Events

2.5

There are so many events and festivals and competitions are celebrated in the college. Specially for the last year students college has organised many guest lectures and workshops from the the authentic resource person it was the great experience as far as technical knowledge is concerned

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. Arround 15k is the fees per year of my course Ad it is government course the fees are less and gives good opportunity even the freeship for economically backward class are available. It is not that expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

college provides freeship for economically backward class as they need economic certificate to know about your parents income and also your percentage as your academic and will give your scholarship accordingly also provides free shape for the backward caste students.

Campus Life

4.5

My institution is the all girl institution so there is no such gender ratio labs and sports are very good in the college provides excellent facility and and renew the stock of the chemicals time to timesexual orientation political and economical status off the colleges also very good.

Hostel Facilities

2

No, college does not have hostel facility but as I do not belong to Mumbai I am staying in the PG The average rent which I am paying every year is 6000 per month excluding food and electricity bill living cost in Mumbai is quite expensive.

Alumni/Alumna

Colleges organised the lecture the speaker are element of the college they are very successful in the life and very grateful for study and pass out from the institution. Seniors also had the great experience as of their academic and also non curriculum activities.

Admission

Apply for the course and got addmission according to the merit, there was interview after the merit list selection, and fees paying session, I choose this course by choice and not by chance I always wanted to become dietitian.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is interested and knowledgeable but somehow they fail to teach better they have great knowledge but somehow bised they are upon students. They taught us well but more interesting and informative way is there to apply.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
