The upcoming college

The college has and is giving me all that a normal engineering student needs, the management is highly responsible and we do have quarterly meetings with the management to discuss the difficulties (if any) that we are facing and they rectify the problem as soon as possible.

The curriculum and the exam schedule is curated by Pune University, hence our college doesn't play a major role in curation of the curriculum but I would like to point out that the curriculum is relevant and is up to the mark with the industry standards. It also includes industrial visits and reports which in turn help us to get insights about the current industry trends.

The placement cell of our college helps us in all possible ways, during our course also we get soft skills training from them, every year there are at least 20-30 companies who come during the placement season, the average placement percentage is around 60%.

Our college hosts various technical, cultural and informational events. The technical event know as Dexterity has participation from various colleges across Pune, the activities under this event are conducted on a departmental level which includes various types of quizzes and model making workshops. The cultural event happens once every year which also includes sports events in it, every year there are at least 600 attendees for the cultural event, the event essentially is of 3 days. Each day has a different theme and agenda.

The fees structure is feasible, the fee breakdown is completely transparent. The mode of payment is thouru online payment portals which makes it easier for us to pay the fees as carrying huge amount of cash is not easy nowadays. We also pay the university examination fees before the start of every academic year.

No, I did not avail any education loan or a scholarship as my family is financially stable to finance my education.

The campus life is quite interesting, as there are on campus hostels and mess everyone knows everyone. There are many national level quiz competitions and sports events that take place and we all participate in them to develop ourselves. The gender ratios are not equal as there are 5-10% more males then the females studying in the college.

No, I have not opted for a hostel as I am a localite I do not need to stay at hostel. But the college does have thouree on campus hostels one is girls hostel and the rest two are boys hostels. The hostels have a joint mess where all the hostelites are served with breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The seniors are highly helpful, they always guide us during the semesters on how to study and which subjects are to be given more time.

The admission process is thouru CAP (common admission process) which is conducted by DTE, Maharashtra. The most important factor I considered during selection of the college was it's reputation, distance from my house and the placement quality. The college has been awarded the best college under Pune University which I saw was a huge plus point for me.

The faculty of our college is having an average experience of 6 to 7 years in their respective fields. They are always open for all types of productive discussions and also teach us using presentations and models which makes it easier for us to imagine the actual working process of a particular system.
