Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite relevant, it provides us basic knowledge as well as detailed knowledge in all subjects along with practicals. The examination part is quite familiar and smooth. From the past few years or college has been conducting it's exams autonomously

Placement Experience

Our college has an average placement package of about ?500,000. My college being well known for its academics and discipline many companies visit to hire a new generation of engineers. Companies such as lecture notes, Infosys, cap gemini,TCS, Amazon etc. Visit our college for placement drive.

College Events

Our college observes it's annual tech fest and cultural fest every year in the month of February. Other days of national and historical importance are also observed

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite expensive for b tech it's about ?150000 per year. And additional ?48500 is changed for hostel. No there are no extra or hidden fees beyond ?150000.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes I have opted for educational loan in The Canara Bank. Eligibility criteria -12th pass with a percentage of 75% or above

Campus Life

The number of boys is more than that of girls.no dorm parties are held as those are strictly prohibited. There are a lot of extra-curricular activites such as robotics club, circuit club, qwerty club, programmers club, keys academics club etc.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, the hostel is present inside the college campus and is maintained and regulated by the residence committee appointed by the college. In the hostel we are provided with breakfast, lunch and dinner. and no addictive substances are allowed inside the hostel

Many of our alumni have started their own business other than being placed in some MNCs and qualifying UPSC.

Admission

I opted for the course to be an electrical engineer. This institution is the best of it's kind in my state, after the declaration of JEE mains result, counseling session was conducted by ojee for the college. Original documents and photocopies were provided and the process of admission was too smooth.

All the faculties of our college are either from a research background or have a master's degree in the discipline. All our faculty members are quite coordinating and have a excellent capability and tendency to solve our doubts and help us in all internal and external affairs

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
