They take feedback of every faculty modules and staff quaternary which js good.

As it is an autonomous college the course and exam structure is decided by the college itself which is a positive point. Scoring is bit tougher than colleges in Mumbai University. Also there are numerous extra curricular opportunities and industrial visits.

The placement can be said to be good but not great. Almost all students interested are placed but the package is not at par compared to other colleges.

There tare thouree major fests orgranised which attracts a huge number of crowd but is only open for Somaiya University students. First fest of the academic year is in October that is Abhiyantriki the technical fest followed by sports fest Skream and lastly Symphony the cultural fest. The cultural fest has the most foot fall and major renowned celebrities and guests.

The fees is expensive as compared to other colleges affiliated to Mumbai University. Yes there is a transparancy in the fee structure. There are no other charges for securing admission. The mode of payments accepted are thourough net banking, debit or credit card, cheque, Upi.

No i haven't opted for any scholarships. There are need based scholarship options available for Students.

The campus is huge with area of about 60 acres and top class sporting facilities. There are about 6 canteens and mess around the campus and teaching available right from schooling to post graduation. The engineering college consists kf more number of males as compared to the females which is quite a trend worldwide. There are abundant cultural and technical societies to participate in.

No i haven't opted for hostel as I stay near to the college. I have friends in the hostel and the facilities provided are quite Ok. The rental is about 80000 per year including catering. There are about 4 people per room with shared bathourooms.

There's an alumni cell which helps in connecting with the alumni students. Also there is placement cell with senior students to guide the juniors.

The admission is thourough Maharashtra's common entrance test. I opted for this particular course as it contains blend of both electronics and programming. Admission process was centralised thourough the entrance exam. But as the university is no longer affiliated to Mumbai University and is an independent University the admission process might be different.

The faculty and staff is cooperative and helpful. There are approximately 6-7 lectures per day of 1 hour each. The average qualification of the faculty is Masters with few of them having PHd degree. The modules are explained well by the faculty. The practicals helped us get the basic industry oriented knowledge.
