Remarks
Would not recommend anyone to join this misorganised, useless carriculum college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is uselessly added with subjects that are of no use. Compulsory subjects like PEACE is taught, which is actually history. Very tight schedule, every second day there is some assignment/test/exam/practical. No overall development system, not even knowlege based system. It was marks based, pass the subjects and jump to the next semester.
Placement Experience
I did not reach that point but my seniors told me that it was not worth the four years and the amount of time, money and energy they gave to the college.
College Events
There are various events in the college, like Aarohan, summit, etc. They are nice and well organised. This is because they are organised 95% by the students. Amidst all this, they hardly get any compensation. They get bunk sheets but not every teacher accepts it. The Students do these events by themselves, for themselves.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is very high. The college is very expensive. And there is an additional fee you pay for engineering graphic sets, etc. You have to pay a fees of 3k for every exam set and some amount for every backlog exam. although the fee structure shows transperancy, but a lot of expenses that we pay seperately aren't informed to us.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarships for students. We have to have good grades for it. I don't know much about the procedure but they take departement-wise scholarships from second year.
Campus Life
There's not a huge campus. People are allowed but a boy and a girl have to sit with a considerable distance between them. A girl or boy can't wear what they want and are forced to wear full length jenes, no skirts. We have to wear two different uniforms on two different days. Very low quality labs. The debates and other completions are organised and held by different club students themselves. The college has little to no contribution. There's hardly any sports scope. The turf is paid. The basketball court is free but crowded.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are very helpful because they know the struggles of freshmen and following year students.
Admission
Via international section, I did not give entrance. I gave JEE and on the basis of it and my boards I was given admission. I was admitted in June, and the session started in july. They did not have any particular criteria for JEE, or boards. They only needed some 60% or something in boards.
Faculty
Mostly shitty. If you know Marathi, you would still be liked. Most teachers are very unreasonable, only Caring about good students and are not at all lenient. They would taunt you and even target you to an extent that they could even fail you in their subject, if you are incompetent or different from the normal students.
