Review for Stella Maris College

There are no bad remarks as such.The college provides the best facilities.

Structure was first an assessment for 50 marks and projects for another 50 marks which will be added up and converted again for 50 and a semester for 100 marks which will be converted to 50 marks and both will be added up. Some projects were research related to gain knowledge. The projects helped in gaining knowledge and explore about many things.We had library to access and read good books

There were more than 15 companies that visited college for placement.The college also provided us training before the placement.They also gave us idea about recruitment and mentally prepared us to face the work life.The tentative percentage of students placed every year is around 90% where few are into higher studies.few businesses etc.

We have our freshers talent hunt, college day, department fests, Interyears, Aquilae, etc The staff and students union make sure that each and every student participates in every event. We are also allowed to participate in events which happen in other colleges.

I happened to pay around 26000 per semester.The fee was pretty feasible. Payment can be made online and we receive the receipt for it.There are no additional charges. The college is transparent about the fee breakdown the details are given to us before we pay the fee

I didn't opt for a scholarship. But students were provided with scholarship opportunities which were very helpful for many.

Our college was a women's college. And about the extracurricular activities, students were provided with many different types of extracurricular activities and each and every one are a part a different clubs. They do train students and also help them grow as a person

Seniors are very friendly and approachable anytime.They also had a introduction session.They had anti- ragging cell to avoid ragging

I got admission into the college thourough interview and I chose this college for its reputation and to enjoy college life. I liked accountancy and that's the reason I chose Bcom degree. Admission procedure was to fill in and submit a form and I received a call from the management for the interview

The staffs were quite friendly and all the lectures were relevant to the core of the course.They were available anytime to clear doubts and we're helpful with the projects.They also guided the students who needed personal training.The staff also helped students with personal problems by being a mentor.
