My college deserves a good review

One thing I must say that it has a good infrastructure which is completely unique and interesting. Classrooms are enough good for study purpose. We get a good chance to grab a job. But routine and schedule are very hectic and boring. Attendance system sucks life. Hostel foods and canteen foods are not that good. There's no such strong WiFi connection.

The subjects which are included in our course is relevant enough for our future goals. But yes, I must say that our schedule is little much hectic. We have to face 2 semester 4 internal and several class test every year. We also have to attend a project in every semester. Despite of everything we have to maintain 75% of attendance which makes our life hectic.

This college is really good for campusing and placement. Every year almost 20- 25 companies come for hiring students. Near about 80% students get job from on campus or off campus. They also get a good salary. But very few students get an internship from college neither they get a good stipend. So it's not at all good for doing intern.

So many events we celebrate in our college every year. We celebrate a grand techfest once in a year. We also celebrate a cultural fest once. There are also coding competition, quiz contest, drama competition, singing contest and annual sports etc.

Feasible according to the enginnering curriculum. Most of the other engineering colleges are also taking almost this much amount. So this fees is average fees for enginnering students. Moreover there are several quotas thourough which students get great discounts sometimes.

Yes, there are several quotas for scholarship. TFW students have to pay a very little amount as fees. Almost 90% of their fees has been removed by our college. There is also a scholarship for girls and so on.

Gender ratio is near about 60:40. So many workshops are conducted by our college. There are 9 clubs including science club and cultural club. Annual sports meet is organised inside the campus. There are gender equality and no such politics, strikes or ragging are allowed inside the college.

Hostel infrastructure is enough good to stay. But hostel food is not according to the mark. There are completely separate 2 buildings for boys and girls. Hostel provides a wifi network but that's not strong enough means that network speed is low. Purified water supply is there.

Yes, they are helpful. Even I took admission by taking review from the alumni. We get more help from seniors than teachers when we do any project or anything extra curricular. They really help us in every aspect of life, any type of problem we face.

I took admission in my college thourough my WBJEE rank. I came to know about my college from their alumni, they give me a strong review of this college and said it is a good college for enginnering. So I came to our college admission cell and by my rank they had chosen me as a capable student for their college. Thus I took admission in CSE branch of JIS College of Engineering.

Faculties are enough qualified most of the faculties are holding PhD. So there no doubt in their qualification. But some of them are not that responsible to take care of their particular subject. Some of them are not that helpful for our project.
