Remarks

Just one bad remark would be that our college campus area is really small.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum and exam structure followed in VIT is really unique and well planned. We have 2 mcq exams which are planned by taking into consideration all the later exams like gate, cat because all the exams are mcq now a days. Then we have 4 project for respective 4 subjects and a major project for each semester this improves our domain knowledge as well as project building skills as well as deadline achieving skills. Then we aslo have ppt presentation and group discussion for every subject which helps us improve verbal skills and representation.

Placement Experience

4.5

I would placement structure in VIT is best for circuit branches. Since the start of third year we have got like 20-30 companies asking for internships. And 100 or so students are already selected. Personally i have also got an internship at well known bank who's one of Office is also located in pune. Our TPO office manages all the tie ups and relationships with companies very well.

College Events

5

Our college is famous for extra curricular activities.Starting with we have vishwakarandak in start of year which include college level gatherings competitions technical as well as non technical. We compete with other branches and one of the branch gets the karandal. Then followed by that we have melange which includes competition with other college groups in technical as well as non technical field. Followed by that we have vishwostav which include character day, saree day, trad day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I would it is expensive for middle class family. But if you take loan the it might help you. But the good thing is all the other expenses are really low. Like we have here a thing called khau galli where you all get all the food at very cheaper price. Talking about college canteen we have 3 canteens all of which are not so expensive we can Afford the hasic food easily. All the fancy food is also available in near by hotels.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have opted for scolarship called ebc which you can get if your salary is less than 800000. All the salaries coming to you home should add up to less than that. We have fill an online form of 6-7 pages then have to submit all the documents offline aswell to the college. Then we get half of the tuition fee in two installments. In VIT we get 60000 which is i think more than enough. This covers my all the other expenses for the year.

Campus Life

1.5

Campus life in vit is great. We have so many clubs going on. Every vitian would be part of one or other club. Labs are well maintained and we have got some lab sponsored by industries like we have a lab by nvidia. There are clubs including technical as well as non technical like robotics, socials, ieee, firodiya, vdec, abhivruddhi and so on all for different purpose.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah we have this guidance from alumni thing goin on now and then. We have really good contacts with our alumni. There is this club which arranges all th sessions from alumni and we can contact them thouroughvthat club as well.

Admission

In 2017 i had given this exam called CET for which you have to study whole 12th std and i scored 147 marks on basis of which you get branch and college. I was lucky enough to get IT of VIT college which is highly reputed branch of VIT. If anyone wants to enter VIT then there are other ways too. You can appear for CET, JEE, or can go thourough management kota.

Faculty

4.5

Most of our teachers have already done phD or are pursuing it. I would say our college should be known for external. Because time to time we have these guest lectures going on and there are various clubs which arranges different interesting lectures on latesr stuff which are mentored by industrialists. Generally we have 3 lectures per subject in a week making it 12 lectures total and additionally we have 1 lab for each subject every week making it 8 hours. Review for our all the projects is conducted every week.
