This the best college in Pune i had no bad EXPERIENCE in the college.

I had given college entrance test, conducted by college itself. My merit number was 37 at college level. This is the best college i had ever seen and experienced. Admissions are takes place by the counselling round after the college level merit list. College has a very good hostel facility. Hostel admission are done as per merit of the candidate, very fare procedure for admission.

I had done my post graduation in this college, which is in industrial maths along with computer application this Curriculum is very useful for software professionals.

So many companies came for placement each and every year persistent, Nvidia, Symantec, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, TATA technology and many more big companies came each year for internship the average stipend is near about 15000.

Google, Nvidia, Quickheal, Capgemini, Symantec, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, TATA technology and many more big companies came each year for internship as well as placement. Almost every student gets the placement from the college (those who fit in company criterion) the package ranges from 2.2 LPA to 6.8 LPA.

So many events are celebrated in the college every year. Departmental events are also there.Samvad:-This is a lecture series in Computer Science Lectures by eminent professionals in the field of Computer Science and is organized generally in the month of January every year. Bits & Bytes:-This is the technical festival of the department organized by the students with the help of teachers. Department organize various events like programming competition, project competition, quiz, seminars, paper presentation etc which help the students to develop the organization skills, and also to explore new areas apart from their regular academic activities. This is generally held in the beginning of the second term every year.

When I was admitted in the college in the year 2008 the fees for my course is 27000 per year same fees is charged during the entire course and there are no hidden fees. Hostel fees is 14000 per year fee structure is very clear and there various scholarships for needy people.

Scholarships are there as per the governments norms for the category students. I Don't know about the loan facility.

The fergusson college was established at a time when the attitude of the Indian masses towards higher education of the western type was yet in a formative stage and when facilities for such education for the generality of Indian students were inadequate cricket club was there where various college level competitions are held there is tennis court, basketball court, well equipped gym. So many technical and non technical competitions are held by the college college days were awesome.

Hostel fees 14000 per year which is very affordable at the college area individual rooms are there for respective students yes there are limited seats for each course students only all clear students were gets the hostel during there tenure in college so the standers is get maintained. There multiple mess options available within the campus, plus point is mess is not compulsory for hostelers hostel and mess structure is old since the college is founded in 1885.

College has a alumni, to form an integral part of this system we give feedback and suggestions on various issues regarding the college we organize the alumni meet regularly. College provide the senior students to interact by the occasion like gathering and various event.

The exam is conducted by University of Pune. Exam Pattern is 80-20 i.e. 80 marks for university theory paper and 20 marks are for college internal test. The practical exam are external means conducted by university daily labs are there for getting good hand on programming languages.

Teaching is very good faculty is best that i have ever seen all of them are post graduate and highly qualified student Friendly environment was there every year college organize lecture series on emerging technology for the students and the faculty.
