Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course in which i am enrolled has been regularly updated by the latest industry standards, making students aware of the latest demands of companies from a fresher. The curriculum is balanced so that the theoretical concepts are aligned with lab, case studies and projects.

Placement Experience

5

the placements begins from sem 3-4 as only the selected students are allowed to sit in the campus round based on their academic progress a lot of companies have visited our department such as: Emcure, Syngene, Kylas the highest package was offered at around 7LPA on campus the most avarage package offered is at around 3-4 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The College management is the best, they will help you while maintaining a polite deminer also all the departments and their respective HoDs and teachers are very understanding. Although i am a CS student but i can tell as my friends from other departments never complain about their faculty and their teachers teaching manner.

Campus Life

5

Festivals and cultural events were some of the best memories i had in the college also the techinical fest was fun they even organised aisa's biggest book fest and it had books from all around the world, with all the popular books, you name it, and they had it. There are multiple libraries, the college containing all the knowledgeable books a student might need during his/her studies. the technological provisions were up-to-date such as smart classes and sharing lecture notes on google classrooms, etc.

Admission

The college has earned its name in one of the best colleges in the country, the college has strong placement and intership opportunities The addmission process is simple all it requires is your good grades in HSC (mostly above 78%)

Faculty

4

In CS Department the faculty to student ratio is 1:10 the professors use real life examples to make the chapter engaging and also are supportive when asked a query the college have semesters wise exams, mid-terms, end terms are the two main exams taken in each term and also the practical examinication. the number of students who fail to pass the exam is not exact but its all their fault as the faculty ends the complete syllabus well within 1 month prior to the exams.

Night Life

5

the college have 2 different one for boys and one for girls both have same opening times i.e moring: 6am to 9 am and evening: 4 pm to 6 pm. i am not sure about the hostels timings but the college gate remains open till 10.30 or maybe even till 11pm. there are many places to hangout for at the college campus such as the colleg ground , media canteen , IMDR canteen the amphi, open amphi and many more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
