The overall management was good and nothing as such to write.
Entrance Preview
I was admitted through a counselling session organised by University of Pune. I had opted for Fergusson College as per BSC score.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was equivalent to BE electronics and had subjects like Power, Digital, Analog, Telecommunication, Integrated technology, VLSI, embedded systems, etc.
Internships Opportunities
I had done my college internship at Forbes Marshall, at MIDC Pimpri Chinchad. I had worked on digital automation for boilers. I used to get a stipend of RS 2000 and got onsite exposure as well.
Placement Experience
Though we did not had much placement opportunities for our batch but most of our batch mates got placed in companies like HP, Siemens, HCL
College Events
There were lots of fun during the college and we used to celebrate all occasions and festival, be it rose day, traditional day, valentine's day, friendship day, etc. We used to have college fest as well as participate in inter-college events like Verve.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure was very feasible. It costed around INR 35000 for both year which included 4 semesters. The hostel fees was around INR 4000 per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
I had not availed any scholarship. Neither I had taken any loans for my fees expenses. I used to earn by taking home tution to school kids.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is almost equal. Lots of fun in the hostel. we used to participate in inter college sports like cricket, hand ball, soft ball, tennis, badminton etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel was a good and old British era structure. We earlier did not had fans but later they has installed fans in all room. Each rooms was singly occupied. The mess food was good.
Alumni/Alumna
I am still in touch with the college faculties as well as admin. The college alumni has a presence in social media which help us to stay connected. Lots of batchmates, juniors and seniors are still in touch.
Exam Structure
There were exams twice a year for each semester. There are internal tests as well conducted by the college.
Faculty
Faculty was great. Our best faculty was Prof. Zambre. He had very good knowledge of the subject. Then we had Prof Kulkarni who used to teach digital electronics.
