Yes, I opted for a college hostel. It is a government of Maharashtra hostel and everything is as average as its government hostel but you get the privilege of wifi in rooms and lan connections, common TV room. Sports equipments etc.

Yes, they help you with anything but you need to ask first. GCEK has a wide alumni network of 15,000 engineers spread across the world.

The faculty to students ratio is low but few faculties have a high domains expertise. Few have industry experience and few are new in the field. Being a Government Institution faculty recruitment is not in hands of college authorities, it lies with the Government of Maharashtra.
