Remarks
The college is average overall.The infrastructure is bad and always under construction.Faculty is average.Very student friendly college.Poor placement cell.provides good platform for students to showcase their talents and develop leadership skills.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is satisfactory.The faculty is good.There are Industrial visits conducted during the year.Placement cell is weak though.The industrial visits are not well organised and are really expensive.Also the campus is terrible and is not at all a healthy environment for your college life.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of our college is really weak.we had to visit many colleges for interviews.Only 2 companies visited our college for campus drives.Hardly 20 percent students are placed every year.No special steps are taken to prepare for placement drives.I got selected in 2 placement drives of Infosys and Capgemini respectively.
College Events
Kiran is the intercollegiate festival of KC college.It is a grand festival which lasts for 5 days.Many other functions like Independence Day,Teachers day,Traditional day are also celebrated in our college.We are not allowed to participate in Kiran as it is an intercollegiate festival and we are the host.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Program name is BScIT.Fees is 25000 approximately per annum.The only payment mode accepted by college is Demand Draft.No additional fees is to be paid for admission.The college does not provide transparency in fee structure breakdown.The program fee is affordable.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship provided by the college is for minorities only.All minorities like Jain,Muslim,Chourishtian,etc can apply for the same.
Campus Life
The campus life is really good.Our campus is located in Colaba where only students of BScIT and Bmm are present.The building is of 11 floors where 5 floors is for BScIT and bmm and others are for Ftmnp and Bombay teachers training association.the gender ratio is 6:4 where 6 is for boys and 4 for girls.Students of all religions study in this college with majority of Muslims.The college is equal in terms of any gender.
Hostel Facilities
I travel by local train to reach my college so I don’t have any idea about hostels.Hostels are for those living in different state but I stay near to my college so there is no need for me to be in a hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
They are really helpful.Not only they helped during college but they also helped after college.They provide with important details about college.Tricks to crack interviews.
Admission
I chose BScIT because it is really a course in demand nowadays.I was part of KC college since my Junior College.It is one of the top colleges of Mumbai.The admission process was simple where merit list decides your admission.If your name is displayed in the merit list then you can take admission by paying the fees amount.
Faculty
The faculty is satisfactory.They are skilled but yet stick to provide bookish knowledge.This knowledge doesn’t help in making a better future.They call even on weekends and even on government holidays which is stressful.The faculty is not good but yet helps by giving everyone free marks.
