No complaint from college management but we can Focus more on studies by reducing number os extracurricular activities.

Course curriculum and exam structure is well maintained from all the branches in college making a perfect balance in theory and practical knowledge. All the practical work here get us insight of the industry and hence it makes us ready for industry and makes us a better professional.

Placements are the best part of our college, almost 100% placements are for the branches computer, electronics little less for mechanical and not very good for civil and chemical. Internships are provided by companies on campus for 2 months in summers and 6 month training. Companies like Amazon, ISRO, Walmart, Goldman Sachs, JPMC and other tech gaints visit every year. The procedure is Very filtering with on an average 3-4 rounds are conducted.

Well our college stands out of the box when it comes for fest we have 4 major inter college fest 1 is saturnalia- cultural fest 2 is URJA - Sports fest. 3 is Orion - technical fest. 4 is MUN - conducted by MUN society where Students of different colleges participate.

College Life is extremely good with best infrastructure and best facilities. Gender ratio is fine as compared to other engineering college its like 1:3 and students from everywhere do come amd study in thapar. Labs are extremely well equipped and maintained in good condition. I found that Thapar have very good economic status and it meets above average standards.

Yes, Well for starting 2 years we are required to stay in sharing then we have option for single occupancy rooms are quite large and very good condition with enough space and good environment PG are little less expensive as compared to hostel which is around 5-7k per month where you find hostel around 40k for 6 months and food for 16k.

Yes alumni network is very strong as you can imagine the roots of thapar are expanding from 1960 so first batch passed out students are on Very senior level in giant companies. You can reach them out on LinkedIn they are quite helpful.

Since thapar is one of the oldest engineering college in India, creating brilliant minds for industry since 1956. I scored decent and wasn't getting any good branch in government college hence i opted for thapar after researching a lot. Here i choose electronic and computer which is not a common stream in Indian colleges but the branch have a lot of scope in near future.

Well we strictly follow credit base systems where around 25-30 hours of teaching is mandatory thouroughout the week. Faculties are quite good for branches like computer and electronics but just average for other branches. Many faculty hold industry experience or currently going thourough Many researche fields.
