The college management is not directly connected to the students which is a bed thing as they fail to realise any problem which could be corrected in it's initial phase but to solve it later in it's bigger form
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is of 2 years max and it follows the trimester system of examination which includes both theory and practical(lab) examinations. Some of the subjects were so informative that it makes it so crucial and informative for the industry standards. The various courses involving the personality development classes, with additional activities made it a very special course for people who want to be a better human overall.
Placement Experience
The top Construction companies visited college for recruitment namely - L&T, E&Y, Deloitte, HCC etc. Overall 300+ companies visit the campus. The recruitment process involve all the examination criteria provided or followed by the companies itself and then after the recruitment process begins. The internship is in between the 2 years of the course which lasts upto 3 months or as directed by the college or company.
College Events
The college enjoys various cultural events with celebration of almost all the festivals and 2 big events. First is the welcoming festival for the freshers and second the annual college festival. The big event conducts big competitions and functions which are inter college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college fess was about 10.75 as of 2015 excluding any hostel and mess fees. The college accepts cheque, Demand drafts and online transfer only (no cash ) you can opt for student loan from any bank which provide student loan to students. As far as additional fees is concerned, no additional fees are to be paid other than the tution fees. Yes the college do provide transparency in the fees break-down
Fees and Financial Aid
I applied for an education loan via Credila loan which are a subsidiary of HDFC bank, although the college do provide scholarship opportunities to students who top the examinations trimester wise
Campus Life
The campus life was very good, calm and exciting. But the course was a bit fast as it had to cover a lot of subjects in a very less amount of time. The gender ratio of the college wasn't equal as being a construction industry institute, womens are less likely to opt for construction industry
Hostel Facilities
No I did not opted for hostel or pg provided by the college as the rooms were very small and can be an issue for anyone who has problem living in closed spaces. For sharing, there are options for 2,3 and even 4 people. The hostels however were very well maintained and bathourooms were very clean
Alumni/Alumna
The alumini network or the college is best that I have seen so far. It's very large well maintained via website and whatsapp group and have greater opportunities for people who want to grow with the industry
Admission
It's among the top construction management in the country with best placement opportunities, I took the entrace test on December 2014 and got my admission letter on 28th of January 2015. The entrance procedure involved a written test, follow by a group discussion and finally with a personal interview.
Faculty
The lectures involved within my course were atleast 8 lectures within a day each lasting 80 min and some with even 120 to 160 min (in case of any labs). The faculty were so well prepared and very polite behaviour wise. All the faculty does have a long history working in the industries which makes the lectures even better.
