College review

See engineering college is not only for the knowledge distribution the college's taking 4 to 5 lakh not just to give a degree after 4 years they must call the companies to recruit the talented students but departments like CE, ME, EE they don't get good chance to show there knowledge and get a job so in my point of view this college is not good for the engineering student. Also the location of this College is not good and the road network upto this college is pathetic.

Course is divided into many categories and covered all important subjects and in each semester there is 2 unit test exam and one final exam at the end of the semester. Each year contains 2 semester and have to attend all exams. Before semester exam We have to attend a practical exam for for 30 marks and semester exam is of 70 marks.

Placement of my department is not more than 10% but other departments have good placement highest placement is of CSE department and One is BME department that is the 6th best department of my college.

Tech fest:- All the department organise there individual fest atleast twice a year. Tech quiz :- This quiz generally organised either individual department or cumulatively by the college. Events :- Yoga event, Dance event, Old age home visit by any particular year student Teachers day :- By each department Freshers :- By each department.

If i see the fee structure of other colleges in West bengal than the fee structure is ok but if i see the facilities provided by this college than its expensive as some class have AC but many others have dont. Also no playing ground available in this college this is a very huge disapointment for the students. Classroom is good. Computer labs is ok.

College don't provide any loan facility according to my knowledge as the students who were in need of any loan that he or she have to go to bank personally and approve there loan itself. Also some scholarship available in the college but it is limited for the domicile students only and not for the outsides student. I am from Jharkhand and i hired an education loan myself and college haven't helped me to hire this loan.

As i earlier told that there is no playground available in the college campus and a seperate land was bought by the college just for the formality and also that land very small means one can't even play cricket there. Just badminton or football. I am from CE department and i can tell you that lab of this department in very small and also availability of apparatus is not adequate and a Group of 15 20 student perform experiment on one apparatus in place of individual like other colleges around thia college.

Senior students are also very helpful and give us idea about the interview that they have faced and what, how we have to prepare ourselves to get a better students. Some students got a very good results i mean they topped the university in different departments but i don't think that they top the department due to the good professors but there own knowledge.

I attend an exam named "WBJEE" and then after result declared than counseling process started and according to my rank i got a college that was not good for me than i applied for upgradation and than i got another college in the 2nd counseling round than i again applied upgradation for another counselling and this is the last round so i got this college "Netaji Subhash engineering college" and now i am a current student of this college and now i am in the 5th sem of CE department.

Taking about the facilities of my department that is Civil engineering that the faculty is not so good means 60% faculties are not well quality or they don't have better knowledge how to teach the students. And also lab is not so big and 10 20 students have to perform cumulatively one experiment not individually this is the bad thing in my department.
