Remarks

The college is expensive humanities department is more horrible and poor

Course Curriculum Overview

3

course cirriculum is typically normal exam is either postponed or late backlog fee is much higher cirriculum is not groomed to provide industry specific knowledge to the students no industrialits visit the college for placements due to the lack of facilities

Placement Experience

2.5

placement is not promising of the college college doesn't provide any internal internship students have to leave for external interenship programmes outside in the holidays themselves college itself don't take the initiative for placement the chance is minor

College Events

5

college is known for the festivals and events parties and djs the events are etoner singing dancing and talent based fresher party where freshers are given the welcome party graduation day where graduation cap is beholded to the graduates and is celebrated

Fee Structure And Facilities

expensive The fee is 45000rs for tution only with the hostel fee of 3500rs monthly for hostel students and different fee structures for bus roots from 1500rs to 2200rs accordingly moreover 2400rs examination fee is charged along with 1400rs of backlog fee college also charge 1700rs for no reason

Fees and Financial Aid

i have not opted for any scholarship but the students with low gross income can apply for scholarships under primary minister scholarship for minority in the campus

Campus Life

2

the campus life is friendly students don't pay heed to genderism sexual race or anything like that doesn't matter in the campus it is gender free capmus most of the students are females most of the students are muslims there are minor cases of ragging to the freshers by seniors

Hostel Facilities

2.5

yes i have opted for the hostel it is like a jail with 3 beded rooms and horrible mess incase someone opts a PG it is better option 2 students sharing a room the clean water facility is not provided in the hostel

Alumni/Alumna

senior are mostly helpful but there happen the minor cases of ragging in the campus some of the Seniors are helpful

Admission

i got the admission thourough jkcet entrance examination i opted for the course because engineering is my passion The factors that made me choose the instution:- it is nearby it is the second oldest engineering regional college of Kashmir it has got latest technology and satisfactory infrastructure

Faculty

2.5

the faculty is highly qualified theorof the but quarter syllabus is covered in every semester some of them hold experience and some of them are new to the field of teaching the study hours are less than usual of any college All of the staff carry the certificates in order to be the part of the faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
