I had 95% PCM, I heard about this college from seniors so i opted for the same. I tried for CAT but did not score good. I was firstly interested to go for medical but did not succed. If you ask me what made me choose the course over other if any options I had is my interest in chemistry. I filled option for LIT and got it. Candidates seeking admission must also have passed the HSSC Examination of the Higher Secondary Board Examination pattern from any of the recognized school from the region for which the seats are reserved.

Course was of my interest and faculty of college was very experienced. Class room study was so good that i never thought of having a tuition for any subject is a government-aided world class institute of higher education in the field of chemical engineering and technology in Nagpur, India, established in 1942. It is one of the oldest and best engineering college for Chemical Engineering in India. Campus placements are close to 100%. Similar to the other institutes of technology in India, LIT offers courses after the 10+2 level (Bachelors: B.Tech.) and Post Graduation courses like M.Tech. and Ph.D.

Internship was good as i got good company asian paints they did not offered stipends but i gained knowledge from them. It was overall a good experience.

There is a 100% placement for good scholars of college out of 76 students 52 were placed and others went for higher studies.

We celebrate ganesh festival, annual gathering, pratibimb etc together also we have organized outstation picnic in hostilities it has given an opportunity to spend a good time with all the class mates.

Rs 24,665 for maharashtra candidates for those outside Maharashtra state tuition fees is double which makes total fee Rs 39,665 for them, where as reserve category students have no tuition fees those making their fees Rs 9,965.

The scholarship shall be tenable for a period of 12 months in the first instance to be renewed for another year subject to the satisfactory progress at each University examination. If the scholar does not prosecute such a course of study to the satisfaction of the Director, L LT at any time during the tenure of the scholarship, the scholarship shall be terminated forthwith by the Director, L.I.T.

The Institute has a campus of about 78 acres 320,000 m2 located at amravati Road in the western part of the city and houses all the departments of the Institute. The college authorities take utmost care to keep the college infrastructure up-to-date.

We used to have sectional exams followed by final exams 20 & 80 marks resp. Labs are well equipped were all experiments can be performed days are chilled out at lit.
