Remarks

Yes, I would like to say that the food of canteen is quite expensive which I think should be pocket friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are two internals exams known as CT1 and CT2. CT1 are for all students and CT2 are for those who are not appearing in CT1 due to absentee and debarred. Also, there are lab practical’s and viva and last the semester exams which is a centre exam for all students.

Placement Experience

The college provides placement in very reputed companies like nestle, amazon, hp, Deloitte, kpmj, hdfc, yes bank etc.

College Events

There are various events celebrated in our college like zest, anukoonj, dandiya night, celebrity night, diwali mela, dance competition, singing competition, debate competition, quiz competitions, nukkad natak, and college students takes participation in each and every events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. The fees are about 1 lakh rupees per year with no additional cost. The college accepts credit card, debit cards, and cheques and demand deposits as the mode of payment. I think the fees are very reasonable and worth as well.

The college provides scholarships for other backward classes like SC, ST and depending on the performance of the students.

The boys and girls are treated equally and there is no gender bias in the college. The college provides good facilities to students such as the clean and big library and proper computer lab for working of students. They always motivate students for sports.

They are helpful to junior students. They are always there to motivate juniors for enhancing their performance.

Admission

By scoring percentage in 12th standard and by entrance test through ggsipu namely ipucet. I opt this course because I am interested in these subjects. I chose this institution because of its environment and good faculties and easy to reach because it's nearby to my home.

Faculty

Talking about the quality of the studies. All the faculties are very qualified having a higher amount of education. They are friendly as well and they always give you proper advice regarding future. All the faculties are teaching us not only for exams but for the field.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I hdd 90.89 percentile in my CAT 2024 and 93.18 percentile in XAT 2025. These are very good scores and make a candidate like me eligible for top B-schools. The eligibility of the course is to have 50% minimum marks in your undergraduate. The application form, fees, and any other information regarding admission are available on thier admission portal.
