Jims, kalkaji is one of the best colleges you must apply in. You'll have a great experience after you have passed out of this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Jims, kalkaji has a good approach on how to teach the student about the courses they have pursued. They focus more on practical. The theory is taught in a way that we are able to understand better that is through various examples. Out college arrange an industrial visit so as we are able to see how things actually work and their management.

Placement Experience

We have more than 30+companies, that come every year to our college for placement. We have to fulfil the qualifications as per the company norms. We generally write an aptitude test based on which we are selected for the interview.

College Events

We have our annual cultural event named "Zest". This is an inter Jims competition which takes place every year. Our event is a mix of dance and musical programs. Apart from our annual fests, we have other events such as treasure hunt, business plan competition etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My course annual fees are Rs 88000. It is quite feasible considering the type of education been provided in this college. Usually, colleges charge in lakhs and still doesn't provide top class education. We do have a scholarship scheme for our students who are not economically fine.

Fees and Financial Aid

Apply for the scholarship was easy since our college provided us with this opportunity. We got ample amount of emails regarding the scholarships, and proper guidance from the faculty about its details.

Campus Life

We have an excellent number of societies like dance, drama, music etc. The president of the respective societies is selected based on their qualifications and the votes they acquired. Our college has a very healthy supportive crowd. We all interact with each other. Their are no cases of raging.

Alumni/Alumna

We get a lot of help from our seniors, be in our projects or assignments or guidance of what to do next.

Admission

After my schooling, I decided to pursue a management course B.com(h). I asked my friends and teachers for the best colleges I should apply in. One of which was Jims, kalkaji. First, everyone has to give an entrance test that is IPU CET to get an admission. Then if you have a good score in your entrance test, you may apply in this college. You may have to finish all the verification process and documentation, submit the fees and you'll get admission in the college.

Faculty

We have one of the best faculties among all colleges. Very supportive and helpful. Every teacher has a very good knowledge of their subjects, which helps us understand better. Our lectures are conducted in a way that not only the teachers teach, but we have the freedom to share our opinion about the topic in front of the class.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I hdd 90.89 percentile in my CAT 2024 and 93.18 percentile in XAT 2025. These are very good scores and make a candidate like me eligible for top B-schools. Truth about jims kalkaji

The eligibility of the course is to have 50% minimum marks in your undergraduate. The application form, fees, and any other information regarding admission are available on thier admission portal.
